Hi,

I come from Germany and have some questions concerning the night clubs. I need a VIP host Servic over into the night clubs to come. Does one have to always reserve a table? We are only too second! Which are the best host services? Please give me nevertheless some pieces of advice. My friend I understand nothing at all. Which steps do I have to undertake over into a night club like TAO to come?

Stay away from the third party host services - I would say either only work with hosts you know or those list on JackColton.com's list found here: http://www.jackcolton.com/reservations.htm

If you're not going the table route, it depends. If you're a large group of guys, try splitting up and picking up some ladies with you to diversify your group. As well, most important of all, GET THERE EARLY! Especially for the hot clubs like Tryst, Tao, XS, etc.

If you're in line and don't wish to wait, then slip the hosts some money [$20-$25 per person in your group is about the going rate, I think?] and you'll usually be set. Before you decide to do this, though, check what you're willing to pay and how much money your group can collect - it might be more reasonable to just get a table instead of the tipping-the-host method.

Update: Just say that you're a woman, so, uh... Yeah, don't worry much about getting in to the clubs - you should be set after just contacting the hosts to get on their guestlist. Different rules for women and men when it comes to the door!

How are unfortunately only too second! Can I reserve a table for two persons? And how much does it cost for two persons? And if I do not reserve a table, I must be able to be registered on the guest list, early before the door stand and the Türsteher tip give. I that correctly understood?

you can reserve a table for as many people as you want. for 2 people it will be 1 bottle min which prob. $375-$450 + gratuity and tip to the host.

If you reserve a table Id tip $50-$100 total. If you use the guestlist tipping is not necessary.
