Vegas In January, Thoughts?

I've never gone to Vegas in the winter months but came across an offer that's got me tempted. I can fly from Pittsburgh and do a saturday, sunday & monday night stay at New York New York for $421 or Mandalay Bay for $495, two hotels that I've stayed at before and like. It's kind of a sweet deal being the airfare alone usually runs me $300-$325, not to mention that it will be 10-20 degress & snowing where I live. Has anyone been out in January and what's it like? (Crowds, Atmosphere, Weather and Nitelife)

Ive been there and I love it in off times. Its still got good crowds on the weekends, yet its not pain in the ass crowded...the only downside is no pools, but you can spend the day betting on football playoffs and gambling/chilling during the day to be ready to go at nighttime. weather will vary it could get into the 60s during the day probably high 30s-low 40s at night, but to us it feels like summertime, id def do it.

Vegas is fun no matter when you go! I've only been in January for New Years and it was cold.. but a really great time!

It's cold, sometimes rainy, awesome crowds. Plus you'll have brand new clubs to try out without having to worry about ridiculous Summer crowds.

No pools, but exploring and hanging out are definitely a bonus. And gives you some much needed recoop time.
