No, I was wondering which is better between Tao and Tryst.

Well, if you've already been to Tryst plenty of times, why wouldn't you go to Tao? Seems like an easy call to me. If you'd never been to either club before, it'd be a different story.
The only winning move is not to play.

why wouldnt the dinner thing work ... friend called and they said if u eat an entree u get a stamp or some crap and u can just skip line. or incase stamp wears off something about receipt for proof

i just wouldnt want to sit in that line so if the dinner method works, dinner it is

it def has been working lately, and I would just ask the host on the phone when you call and then ask again when they seat you at the restaurant that you will DEF get into the club after eating, and if they say yes then youre in if they say no walk away
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

I called the restaurant and they said if you order at least 1 entree you can get express entry into the club but males have to pay $20 to get in.

My question is this... is the food at Tao really good? It's going to cost you some money to eat there, if you eat somewhere cheaper and then use that money toward a table wouldn't that make it worth it? Just and idea. I'm a girl so I don't need to do the whole table thing (these feet were made for dancing) but from what I understand guys have the most fun when they can bring a lady back to the table.

I could be wrong but its something to think about?

(no matter what I am sure you will have a great time)

My two cents? Eating that soon before going out only a) can cause bad breath and 2) increase your tolerance. Not seeing the win here

I agree with your $.02! He could always carry a Wisp with him to freshen breath. They are awesome!

I wasn't impressed at all with Tao's food. Just like any other Asian restaurant to me.

And yeah, I definitely wouldn't want to eat that close to hitting the clubs. It takes more alcohol to get you drunk if you have a full stomach. Now who wants to spend $ on lots of drinks when you can just buy a few on an empty stomach.

I'm seriously going to recommend the "eat at Tao restaurant prior" method. Worked for us being seven guys on Memorial Day Weekend (Friday too).

And it ended up being reasonable pricing too.

Having the food in your stomach is a great buffer. It makes it safe to drink excessively.

Granted, it's easy for me to say because when we ate there, we were staying at the Venetian, so we just took SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS SHOTS back at the room for free, but still.

See, that was the absolute best part -- we did not have to pay for cover. We ate dinner, stepped outside the restaurant, immediately got our hands stamped, then came back at our own leisure. So, essentially, I paid $35 for a decently-filling dinner, a diet coke, and immediate access to Tao.

Thats why figured it was a good deal if you are planning on going to TAO and not getting bottle service. Its basically like getting a free meal b/c if you have a group of guys you would have to grease the doorguy to get in and then pay admission. Eating dinner would give you a meal and no waiting to get in the club for basically the same price or cheaper if you dont have to pay the $20 admission.

If I eat and have to drink a lot, it makes me full and sloshes around in my belly while I'm dancing though. lol
