a.d.'s and anxiety meds dont give a high or anything if you need them....I had my own little bout with the anxiety stuff in the midst of the economic meltdown, thats why i know first hand he cant just stop them for the few days

Thanks for the kind words. And no, it doesn't give a buzz or warp my senses or anything like that. It just puts me on a more even keel. Things don't get me down as much as they used to, and I'm not crippled by anxiety in social situations. It's like I've leveled up and enemy attacks don't take away as much HP.

I like oxycontin too... Way way way better than tylenol 3s which is the only thing my doctor will prescribe..

BarrelO I think you'll have an awesome time without alcohol. Just the energy and atmosphere alone will guarantee you a good time.. It's all about your attitude.

I had to go without alcohol for a while before I got my wisdom teeth removed, and the timing just so happened that it was during a bunch of parties I had to go to. I just would drink soda water with lime.. anyhow, it was nice to not have to line up to go to the bathroom at the clubs (which is what happens when I drink too much) and also funny watching other very drunk people. also, you'll save so much money.... lol. alcohol can be expensive..

this just reminded me that back in july i was supposed to be taking some antibiotics while in vegas....i had asked my doc if it was ok to drink alcohol with the meds...her reply was "well i think one glass of wine should be fine". i could barely keep a straight face. i ended up doing research on my own and found out it was fine to drink while on the meds, not that it really mattered...once i got to vegas i was so busy getting drunk i completely forgot to take the pills anyway.

yeaa i've drank on anti biotics before... can't remember which ones but it got me drunkk soooooo fast it was great being a cheap drunk had a blast too! felt like a whole new kind of drunkeness.... but I don't think they worked to well and well that's my fault. Now my buddy's gf is a pharmacist so I just call her up and ask and she lets me know if it's ok or not

The strongest drug I've ever taken has been aspirin... Maybe a Centrum multivitamin? Over the counter allergy pill? Never had a problem drink on them...

Kidding aside, I've gone out before without drinking - I would say it depends on your mood and who you go with. If you're going out with a bunch of lushes, might be hard to have a good time as they get all sloppy drunk. I'd say the least fun is when you're still recovering from a hangover from the day/night before!
