Oct 29 - Nov 2 - Halloween in Vegas!

Hey all,

I'm a new member, just found this site because going to Vegas and was looking up some nightlife tips, so sorry about any mistakes.

My buddy and I, both 22 year old males, are heading to Vegas Oct 29 - Nov 2, and meeting up with his brother and some others. We're hoping for some nightlife adventures, some gambling, and a lot of drunkenness. Any recommendations though on for what to do Thursday night up until Friday night?

Also, is it better to dress up for halloween or just dress nicely for the club on Halloween? We'll be getting a table at the Bank from a hookup, and wondering if any etiquette or tips for first-timers.

We think we got a decent amount of stuff to do from then on until Monday morning.

Welcome! Read around the forums, you'll find great info.

Thursday night I suggest Tao. Friday night go with the Palms wristbands. Or you could go to Tryst, XS, Pure, etc. Really can't go wrong. Pick a place, then contact the hosts.

Halloween. Up to you. You'll be fine dressing up or not.

Nothing "special" but I believe thursday is typically Tao's most popular night. That's generally consensus on the boards for Thurs.

There's a couple thread in the nightlife/daylife section on pool closings. I forget exactly, but I'm pretty sure most pool parties are closed. There may be a couple left by halloween, but it probably won't be too hopping.

Hit up the GhostBar at the Palms on Thursday. One of the only days you can get in this place without waiting long hours. Admission also gets you inside to the Moon Club next door after you're done. GhostBar is a good place to have a drink and check out the views before finishing up the party at the Moon. Moon also has some killer views in the outdoor patio. Maloofs know how to hook it up. If you're feeling rich you can rent the Hugh Hefner Sky Villa for 50K a night. This is actually the 1st place prize for the best costume contest at the Rain on Halloween.

sounds like a little spam if you ask me!!!! I think ghostbar may hvae seen better days, but def a great spot to grab a drink and check out the views and if youre like some of us in the "special" club the kitchen at ghostbar is the spot to be to be honest I think the concensus on here is that palms is a great great spot.

Ya know, a few weeks ago I tried out Moon on a Friday night and wasn't impressed at all. But then again this guy started dancing with me and my friend and introduced us to his friend that looked like one of the guys from the Adams Family. lol And then the rest of the night was a blur because I was so hammered. And I left pretty early to attend a private party for 2.

I've heard so many good things about the clubs at the Palms though, and I didn't get to check out anything but Moon, so I'm going to give it another chance Halloween weekend and go with the wristband.

Pool season is dead. I'm sure if you just want to swim a few laps you'll find some open. Most of the pool parties closed up at end of September. I suggest Rehab at the Hard Rock next summer. If you're wild enough you might even be put on the show.

Dress up for Halloween. This is what Halloween is all about. What better way to be drunk then to wear a silly costume.

Yeah, I don't mind getting ridiculous with a costume. Just trying to have a good time. But what about dress codes?

Oh, and does the Paris or Treasure Island hotel have a separate tub and shower?

I don't think were all experts but it's true if you read through the fourms you can get a lottttttt of info.... More info then you need sometimes too

Oh I definitely remember the other person. Everything was crystal clear as soon as we got to the private party.
