  • Best clubs for older club goers

    Hi all-
Big thanks to JC for some great advice over the last couple years. I've enjoyed great nights at Jet on Monday, Body English on Sunday, Blush, and a host of other big clubs.

Here's my questions - and I'm asking quite a bit in advance of my trip so may have to update later - but I'll be in Vegas in a couple months for a few days during the week. I'm in my late 30's - and look a few years younger (and try to live younger:-) and am pretty decent looking and I want to hit a couple/few clubs/bars that offer higher odds of success for an "older" guy - the super-hot young girls that seem to be prolific at the big clubs just don't go for me anymore - although I like them just fine! Plus the rope guys aren't too excited about letting me in unless I have a Grant in my palm... So anyway I'm thinking about places with a slightly older - but _fun_ crowd.

If the answer is I need to just man up and get a table at a big club - so be it - but I'm hoping for something a little lower key (and less pricey)...

    Thanks in adanvce

I dunno. I'd say you'd find a decent crowd at most bars along the strip. Try places mentioned here

and yes, getting a table would probably improve the chances for an old guy to get lucky. money makes the world round lol

Wait a minute wait a minute. First, 30 something isn't that old unless you look old or feel old. Unless 30 something is really 42+ and then, still, unless you feel old/look old. Second, I got a very strong impression that this forum wasn't entirely full of 21 year olds. Am I wrong? When I was 21 there was no way I could afford to drop 400+ on any night out, let alone 3-4k for a weekend. Am I wrong? Is everyone here 21-23 and just loaded with cash? Or am I just so very poor and old that I'm getting up to speed late? No offense if you are getting bottle service at Tryst and you're 21, I'll just envy you a little thats all.

Another thing too, unless you live within a state or two, isn't it a bitch to fly down there? Damn plane fare killed a good half my budget (so I upped my budget, but damn). And I live in the states too. People like Patrick, doesn't that airfare just kill? Or once again, am I just getting up to speed late?
That being said, if you're asking if it can be done, you're probably not at the level where you could pull it off.

You want to be at the club where girls want to be... not where guys get good bottle deals.

it sounds like the gentleman has a good grasp of his strengths and weaknesses and is trying to leverage himself the best he can to make his trip successful.

AK to answer your question I myself am not loaded. I am only 25 though (not sure if that's the age your talking about) and I live in San Diego which is only a 4-5 hour drive away. So for me all it takes is getting a few friends together and we spend about $200ish each for hotel and round trip gas and that is very affordable. We don't really do bottle service and my friends take it alit easier on their spending than me but I was still able to go 5 times this year and already planning my 6th. We ball on a budget

Now someone like Patrick who lives in Germany will maybe go half of that or just once a year since it'll be way more for him to get there compared to me.

Cisco, you're the man! I wish I lived down there closer to Vegas. I'm glad to hear you're doing it for me. I would totally do it like you're describing. Drive over, get some guys together, etc. For a brief second I envisioned 21 year old millionaires filling this forum. Glad to know it really is real people. And please, anything you can do to help Phillip Rivers and Co. beat the crap out of the Broncos will be appreciated.

Solution -- take Kyle Orton out drinking the night before.

I dont' consider 30's to be that old. I'm 28. Sometimes i party on a budget... sometimes i dont lol. BTW, i know you're in the US... but I'm guessing flying from alaska in general is going to be expensive. I mean you can see russia from there lol.

So is this just a roundabout way of asking where to find the lowest hanging fruit?
