I lined up at Best buy once on Thanksgiving day at 11pm. Waited till about 530am and they said the item I was waiting for was a ticket item and all tickets were gone... Bull shit. Drove over to Toys R Us and they sold out too. Finally just went to Target and got a few movies. It was an experience.

That sounds like hell. I would have ended up killing someone that day.

i think we should just all start doing that everywhere...grocery store, bank, DMV (it would be especially helpful there)...we can start an international phenomenon.

If everyone did it, it wouldn't work for anyone. Classic fallacy of composition.
The only winning move is not to play.

Yea but it would work for a little while and would be fun for those who catched on first

hahaha, not quite here's your bit of random trivia for the day.

                              from wikipedia:

                              Etymology
The name derives from the English tradition giving gifts (a "Christmas box") to less fortunate members of society in the days when people worked in rural economies such as estates or hundreds. It later extended to service workers (traditionally laborers, servants, service staff, postal workers and tradespeople) in the United Kingdom.
