Bottle service at The Bank (Sunday) we got kicked out of our table

Went to The Bank on a Sunday this past August.

Gonna keep this short and sweet.

We got kicked out our bottle service table because we refused to buy additional bottles. We came early finished our bottles early and were asked to buy more to stay if not we had to leave.

Has this ever happened to any else?

We sat down around 11pm. I closed my tab immediately cause I didn't want to charge additional things on my card during the night. We planned on paying cash for any additional stuff anyways.

Just to clarify. I usually go through the contacts that JC recommends but for the first time was set up through my friend's contact. That was a big no no.

you answered your own question....especially at the bank, JC owns the place its all about hooks man, I have heard this happening before.....the bottom line is if this happened to me Id simply say Im staying or youre going to have to get all of your bouncers together to drag me out.....and now id add "im from NY im on that tyson shit" haha j/k!

Sorry to hear about that happening. Never been to bank, so don't have much to offer. From reading your blog entry, I coudln't tell if the host you dealt with to get the b2g1 was a 3rd party indy host or a host that worked directly for the club. I wouldn't be surprised if it was an indy host.

BTW, nice blog entry/report overall and cool pics. The skyloft seems pretty pimp. You should post a TR on here too!

use JC hosts.....and like JC suggests in another section, always confirm with the host ahead of time that the table is yours for the night

wow, i've never had that happen to me, surprised that you didn't just ask the skyloft personnel to book the table for you, since it would be marked as casino marketing.. FYI - when you are staying at the skyloft you have same priority as anyone who is RFB+, except you have to pay for everything - i would suggest that next time you use them for anything within the mgm system.

otherwise, yes that is Katrina - did they clean your shit up and then ask you to buy bottles ASAP? or was it that you were finished with your bottles, and just hanging around and they casually came by and said you must buy bottles or else?
i've continued to order drinks on the tab but never had been forced to buy more bottles anywhere without me approaching them first?

this is a common practice for a lot of clubs. Ive seen it happen at BE before.

The skyloft prices vary. I have seen as low as $750 a night and as high as $3k per night for the 2bedroom.

It all depends on when you want to go.

I was lucky and got the room for under 2k for both nights.

It normally averages about $1500 a night for the 2bedroom before market crashed. Now I am seeing it around $1k-1.2k

The price imo isn't that bad if you have enough people.

You can easily fit 10 people or more in that place. It's 3k sqft. 2 queens and 1 king and 3 living rooms with sectional sofas.

if you split 2.5k between 10 good friends then it's like $250 a person for both nights. It may seem like alot but with the fact that you can chill in the loft and do so much you save out on going down to the casino floor and gambling.

It's well worth it. I have only stayed in the 2 bedroom. One of these days i'm going to get the 3 bedroom 6k sqft hopefully I can find enough friends to do it.

if your considering the 1 bedroom with some friends. Be warned that the upstairs shower is open so people who walk up the stairs can see you shower. I think the 1 bedroom is more of a honeymoon type suite.

The thing is once you stay at the skyloft you probably don't want to stay anywhere else ever. Stayed there like 5 times and going back again in December.

Everytime I go home I realize my home sucks compared to it.

yes i originally asked the skyloft concierge but i got tempted with the 2 for 1 offer. Should have known better.
and yes they did clean the table and immediately asked to buy another bottle. When I told her I would wait for my friends to return to ask them she just stood to the side and waited for them to return. I felt so pressured/rushed.

yeah.. believe it or not, you can actually get the bank table comp'd depending on your play rate if casino marketing books it - as well they obviously won't kick you off the table (actually any club that is sitting on mgm-mirage owned property) .. they will always mark it casino marketing, so they wont be up and up about asking you to leave, because they know better than to piss off some high roller person (you never know who is staying @ skylofts these days)

agreed on the 1BR bathroom, the rainforest shower with the glass towards the stairs onto the strip, totally a porn waiting to happen.

forgot to add.. the 3BR, is rediculous, i still have yet to figure out what one does with the gigantic dining table, and the huge random area upstairs. last time i was there, my friend decided that he wanted to start breakdancing and use it as a dance floor, hahaha..

have you stayed at any of those placed?how do those other places compare to the skyloft? the thing that gets me is all the perks the skyloft comes with.

Was considering the bellagio penthouse but i really like the 24hr butler at skyloft.

i'm one of those guys that once i find something i like i tend to stick with it.

Usually go to body english on a Sunday and I tried The Bank and look what happened. lol
