OFFICAL - I'll be in Vegas for Halloween!!

So since its already October and Halloween is less than a month away I think its time to post the official thread.. and work out some possible JC member meetups...

Arrive in Vegas Thurs 10:00pm .. Leave Sunday @ 4:00....

My game plan is still not slated in stone.. But this is what it looks like so far... Friday during the day.. get settled into the hotel...explore a bit...nap..then Friday night we got the palms club with hosted bar @ rain. Looking to hit up the ghostbar round 9.. then over to rain from 10-1 for the hosted bar. Then over to Moon/Playboy to close the night. Obviously this is most likely to change night off, but I will def be @ the Palms around 9-close on friday night.

Sat looks like Minus 5 sometime during the day, then mostly exploring.. looking for a possible early evening JC meetup...Then onto most likely TAO, or my push my luck trying to get into Tryst/XS not sure yet.

Sunday... just taking it easy

For anyone going out there for this weekend, if you have any suggestions for a possible meetup place/time lets hear em!

I'm gonna be in Vegas to just one day before you and we should meet up for sure I'm thinking i'm gonna hit up tryst or XS on saturday and I'm sure you'll get in cause it's hype as everyone says about the line don't be scared!

Well a lot of bullsh*t has went down since my original post about the engagement back in August I believe. The good ole adage of Murphy's Law "Anything that can go wrong will go wrong." is definitely the case. First off my group started of has 8 def going. Then that dropped to 6. Ok thats fine.. Well then my college roomate and his gf were going to come and they were dating for like 4 years and randomly broke up. So she is out, and the ole roomie is like man i dont wanna go without her, etc. so he's out. So that leaves us with four.. so now my current roomie is like man i think i should save up some money, I need to save. and is pulling the lets go in April after I get my income tax refund n all this bs.. so Mike the other kid was like well if Johnny isn't going im not going. They were gonna book their flights/hotel together. So I was pissed and I was just like F#$ it. There are gonna some JC members to meet up with and have a great time.. it's not gonna be the extravagant, once in a lifetime party with your life long friends weekend I was planning.. but hell its Vegas right?!?! ... so then I got this curveball thrown in.

To make a long story short. My girlfriend and I have been dating for seven years. We started dating when I was sophomore in H.S. After H.S. her family moved to back to the Boston area where she was originally from, and I stayed in Ohio to go to college to play baseball. So basically for the last 3 1/2 years we were in a long distance relationship. So she finally moved in with me in August. I have the ring, its at my parents house so she doesn't randomly come across it, and we were planning a trip up to Boston in 2 weeks. I had it all set up one of her sister was going to get her to go to the mall or something and to leave me alone with her parents, so I could do the right thing and ask her parents. Well its turns out I have a conference that I have to attend for work the weekend I was going to go up there. Now her father comes from the Ole Country, they're a hard core Italian and its just something I got to do... So now I'm stuck with the dilemna of either doing it over the phone, or just not asking and just doing it neways. I'm kinda inclined to just do it anyways I mean we have been dating for seven years... haha im SUPER stressed out I dunno what I'm going to do, I'm literally not sleeping at night cuz my whole plan went to shit..... But IF I do end up doing it.. the plan is Friday night early dinner @ top of the world per NYC's suggestion.. then a night of ragging at the palms clubs

Yeah sunfire we can def arrange a meetup at some point. It would be awesome to meet up with another couple and party it up. Your a vegas virgin also, correct?? I'm actually coming a day earlier than what was planned. I found a late flight thursday that I can swing after work and will hopefully get into town around 10 on thursday.. I'm just worried about my quick layover in Chicago.. Its only an hour and the way things have been going so far, my flight from Pittsburgh will be delayed and I'll miss my connection. But on the bright side things are looking low right now which means they can only get better and vegas will be wild! PM and we'll exchange contact info and maybe try to set something up if your down.

Hmm...I see your dilemma. I wanted the whole fairytale too. Bf asking my dad first (I'm Italian/German too) Bf/ now husband didn't want any part of that. And you know what I haven't thought twice about since. If you have been together for that long and have survived a long distance relationship I say the most important part is you two. Call him if that makes you feel better but don't stress over it. Enjoy your trip!

+1 to that I mean if you can't go then you can't go unless you wanna make a trip out there to ask this weekend or something... see if you were in canada you'd have a day off as we celebrate thanksgiving this weekend... but never the less something is always better than nothing so might as well do it over the phone than not doin it at all

I used my extra money from my cancelled flight to Bos. next week to upgrade to the flight that leaves late Thursday after work. That is one GREAT thing about southwest they don't charge you to change your itinerary.
