I've found a few on the internet & found the indoor, but i'd rather do the real thing and if anybody had actually used any and had 1st hand experience i'd appreciate it.

Thanks for the reply anyway Royale

I've done it with them several times, very professional. Pricing is around $200 with DVD and tip for your instructor.

Its out in Boulder City, but they have free shuttles to and from strip

A year on from the recommendation of SkyDiveLasVegas.com is this still the best place for it??

There is a group of us going out November 5th and few are considering this, if we can find the courage haha.

Definitely. They have free shuttles from the strip to the dive zone (boulder city airport) and are very legit. I've done multiple jumps with them and highly recommend.

              Two things...

              - Make sure to get the video....

              - Don't be nervous. If you are, remember that goes away the second you jump from the plane. Then its "aaaaaahhhhhhhhhhhhh! (flappy lips)." haha

                Cheers for the info.

Will get in touch with them and get it arranged. I'll need to get it booked while everyones still acting all brave.

Nervous will be an understatement when they finally get there though, i will guarentee that!!! Some are bad flying in big planes never mind jumping out small ones haha.

I was cracking up the first time I went.

The first thing they have you do is sit through this long video explaining all the ways you can't sue them if something goes wrong, then I get in this plane with the door open on take off while I'm not buckled in (wasn't a problem in any way, just felt weird after flying commercial).

And THEN...the plane is being beat to hell with a windstorm, so bad they closed the airport after.

All made for a bigger adventure. :-)

Seriously though, dont let the fear get to anyone. Its the same with any extreme sport (cliff jumping, zip lines, swimming with sharks, etc), you have an intitial nervousness that goes away pretty quickly after you actually take the plunge. Just run with it and enjoy the ride.

Just had a butchers at the site....

I hate flying but this looks too much of a rush to miss if i can pluck up enough courage and encourage a couple of the others to do it, it could be the starting point on the visit to vegas....

                    Vodka redbull please!!!!!!!

If $$ isnt a big deal, do it in Vegas. But at least for me, it's way cheaper in the Chicago area. Probably cheaper in other cities, as well.

6 of us jumped this morning with SkyDiveLasVegas and they were brilliant. Manged to make even the most scared in the party, who had to be dragged out the hotel in the first place, feel comfortable.

Well worthy of recommendation to those thinking of jumping in Vegas.
