Club Krunk – Kandahar Air Base (KDAB)

For all those planning to visit the Kandahar establishment, known as “Club Krunk”, please read this thread so that you may know the “What and What Not’s” to expect.

To begin, why not start with the line and admission to gain entrance into Club Krunk. There’s no line and no cover charge! These factors alone should say something about the establishment; however, the review will go on.

Once inside Krunk you will notice the abundance of LCD screens showing motivational clips of the U.S. Armed Forces, the screeching sound of what seems to be a cat in heat singing annoyingly for a mate, and the smell of human feces which is conveniently dumped into a pond next door. The music selection is definitely less than par and in result the dance floor is completely empty. The empty dance floor is not really a bad thing because the guy to girl ratio floats between 25 to 1 and 20 to 1. So if you’re looking to bust a move next to some hot honeys than you better relocate to another establishment.

As for drinks, you have an endless supply of non-potable water on tap which has been deemed non-drinkable by health advisors. To make up for the horrible water supply the establishment offers free bottle service. Featured bottles of water are to include these from the United Arab Emirates:
    • Emirates
    • Cyrstal
    • Oasis
Club Krunk has also introduced a new bottled water to their selection called “Kinley”. Kinley water is bottled by the Coca-Cola Company and comes to you from “A deep underground source”. Also, the introduction of Nestlé’s bottled water, “Pure Life”, seems to be a smashing hit here and the average patrons’ choice of hydration.

The seating at Club Krunk is likely the most disturbing factor. Due to the dusty air and lack of house keeping the seats are covered in dirt which collects to your clothes. If you can actually find a place to sit it’s usually a bench made from plywood and bottled water boxes.

To conclude, if I were asked to rate Club Krunk on a 0 to 5 star scale I would, without hesitation, rate this place a zero. If you’re looking to make the best of your night you might as well sit on your couch at home and watch re-runs of “I Love Lucy” while sipping on near beer with your Grandmother.
