Looking forward to this trip, my third trip this year. Going with 3 other guys to celebrate our birthdays since we didn't get to celebrate together.

Staying at the Venetian the whole trip...

Thursday, 10/1: Pretty open. They want a somewhat chill night - currently doing hookahs and drinks at Lavo, but I want to get a table somewhere. One of my friends arrives at LAS at 10:30pm, and not sure how that leaves us for table service and a "guaranteed" table. It is also Euro House night at Lavo, so looking to go somewhere else unless the vibe is really good

I keep hearing from everyone to do Tao Thursday... With my friend arriving late, if I have a table, do hosts ever get someone from outside and bring them to the table?

cool my girls and i are going the same dates...we are staying over @ Planet Hollywood........Tao IS amazing on thursday..DJ plays a little bit of everything unlike LAVO where all u will hear is Euro house boooooooooooo.....LAVO is actually a nice spot to get a drink or two b4 hitting the club.....

and if ur friend is arriving late, ur host will def go get him from outside..u just have to let them know...

I personally wanted to hit up the Palms thursday night...Moon is pretty chill that night but Tao plays better music...

and everyone keeps talking about XS...the last time i went to Vegas was Feb08 so i have not been there yet..cant wait..

Apparently it's Latin night at Lavo on Thursday... My friend is into that, so we might stay there.

I think we'll play Thursday by ear, though I really want to do bottles at Tao that night... Really looking forward to XS on Saturday!

She's right about the host getting your friend that flies in, you just gotta make sure you let your host know ahead of time that your expecting someone to get there a bit later due to his late fly in and the host will be cool with it.

Someone posted a review about Lavo and going when it was "Latin night" and they said do not go! lol I'll see if I can find the posting and quote it here for you

we decided to hit up Lavo. Bad idea. Don't get me wrong but it was salsa night and I have no idea how to salsa nor was I in the mood to hear that.

We stayed however because the bottle service was pretty cheap ... had one bottle of Absolute for @250 after tip out as well. So we just chilled with a few friends and watch large/plus sized women dance on the tables ... great day. Hahahaha ... I don't have anything against plus sized woman, some are attractive in the face etc but wow, don't dance up on the stage showing off cottage cheese. Really?

Thanks for the tip! I found some pictures of that night, the review you posted looked right on, and I'm pushing us to get a table somewhere else.

isnt that funny....lavo didnt open until AUGUST 2008, and the last time you were there was Feb 08, but you somehow know all about lavo, and it looks alot like my review of lavo to be hones......uh oh you might be slipping here!!!

just simply pointing out that you couldnt possibly have ever been there since it wasnt open yet....just making sure it is clear to everyone here, so they can take the advice with a grain of salt!
