I will be in Vegas on October 3rd and I am a big college football fan. I want to reserve a table of 6 or so at a major Sportsbook for the day. How do i do this? What are the best sportsbooks? Is this easy to do or do you need some sort of connections?

it depends, some sportsbooks have this and some dont......the best place to do this is the old 40/40 club in the palazzo.....it wont be very busy as long as its not columbus day weekend, so you shouldnt have a prob getting a table.
it's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the boss

they usually only do it for big stuff like SB or final four wekends etc. some books do it (dont think they do bottle service, but they will reserve tables and seating).

You mean people arent crowding around tables to watch the 18th horse race in Alberta Canada on those little TV's?

I never understood people who can sit and bet on horses on TV all day.

I had a coworker who was obsessed with them. Would spend nights reading about the horse's history and whatnot.

Granted, he supplmented his income pretty well, but still.

Aye, same - and most of those people betting on the ponies in the sportsbook are probably lifers/locals anyway and they're not all degenerate gamblers (in fact, horse betting almost is one the cheaper forms of betting if you can control). I'd say that there's more people at the poker & blackjack tables who should be handed those "When the Fun Stops..." gambling addiction pamphlets.

If their locals coming to the strip to bet on horses in large casino sportsbooks, then id say they still have a problem.

Rail birds at the sportsbook always look malnutritioned. Do you ever seen a straight laced suit ever sit down to monitor his bet on his ponies? He just throws down the dough and checks back later.

maybe some of us just enjoy watching the races?
