what are your plans when you get here ?

It's kind of a family visit type thing. I'm driving there with one uncle and another is flying in from Tampa. We are staying at one of my uncle's friends house outside of KC. Cookouts during the day. I'm not sure if i'm hitting any nightlife (my uncles aren't exactly the club type) but i'll definitely have my fair share of drinks with them.

If I get frisky and decide to hit the city by myself i'll let you know. Getting lost in cities I don't know by myself (and usually ending up in the worst places I shouldn't be) seems mandatory for me on most trips. I like adventures. I just don't want to end up in jail or in a ditch on a trip with family. Haha, just kidding (kind of). Let me know what's going on though and if there is something good i'll see what I can do to make it out. Not sure how far outside of KC they are.

You might of heard of this place this is where they kicked dj jazzy jeff out for playing rap music. Its a group of bars with a couple of nightclubs(if you can call them nightclubs they only hold like 300 people)

The best thing we have here is food bbq to be exact. Depending on where your going to be at heres a good list of spots.

I'm sure i'll check out some BBQ. I was born there so I know a little something about it, but not much. My uncles all grew up there and lived there for awhile so i'm sure they'll be taking me some good places. I'm going to take some of these names with me though.

Man, I don't need Chicago nightlife. I get that here as much as I want. Everyplace has dive bars, which just so happen to be my favorite. If I can find a place that doesn't play country music the whole time and has friendly people, i'm good to go. I'd imagine with my uncles, i'll be sitting at some form of sports bar at one point as well.
