It comes from Jalisco. 100% blue agave, you know, all that good stuff.

I know Jalisco but what part? I have family from Jalisco and their huge tequila drinkers. My grandma who's pushing 100 has a real sweet tooth for tequila too! Her family owned one of the makers down there, dont really remember which one though

Ah, gotcha. Ambhar comes from Tepatitlán de Morelos, about 70 km east of Guadalajara.

Hey guys, check out this newly released video that details the legend upon which tequila Ambhar is based. It showcases the roots and traditions we embody in the production of Ambhar.

          [ame]http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=j25koLvrhF8[/ame]

The beautiful goddess Ambhar was beloved of the stars. She fell in love with a mortal, and was killed by the other gods for this forbidden affair. The stars hid her remains on earth as the blue agave plant (hence the reason the agave is shaped like a star). Still angry with Ambhar, the gods discovered her remains and struck the agave with lightning, burning away all but the heart, which bled a sweet nectar. The nectar was collected by the mortals and used as an offering to the gods. The gods were well pleased. This ancient legend inspired the creation of tequila Ambhar. The result is not only a spirit that is flavorful and smooth, but also steeped in the history and tradition of one of Mexico's most prized treasures.

Haha don't blame me, sir. Get all your friends to scoop it up in Nevada and then we'll be able to push up the expansion date over there. So you see, YOU have the power to get Ambhar to you quicker.
