Whoa, you guys have been busy over the weekend. Let me see if I can knock out a few of these questions for ya'll.

Yep, we can be found at Lee's. We've been told that many of their locations have sold out and are waiting for their next shipment, so make sure you call before heading out to ensure that they have Ambhar in stock. Definitely don't want a wasted trip.

Do they sell it in Texas? How is it with a Margarita? Im not really a shot kind of guy.

We are not in Texas yet, but plan to be within 2-3 months. While it is first and foremost a sipping tequila, it works perfectly well in a margarita, as well as Ambhar-tinis, Ambhar-jitos, and Ambhar Cosmos (clever, eh?). I'd be happy to give you a few recipes.

Cisco419: Where in California can I get it? I'm in San Diego, also how much does a bottle of it cost? Can you send me a sample bottle if I pay for shipping?

We are right on the verge of being in California, but at the moment aren't quite there.

The prices vary, depending on where you're buying it, but we are similarly priced to Patron, just way better ( ). For example, and since Chappstick asked, here's our prices at Lee's:
Ambhar Platinum: $44.99
Ambhar Reposado: $49.99
Ambhar Añejo: $54.99

While I'm first and foremost a brandy/cognac guy, I'm also a huge fan of high end reposado/anejo sipping tequilas and I'm curious to hear about where you feel your brand fits in with some of your competitors.

Yeah, I was going to post the same question - what's the particulars on this tequila?

Great question, thanks for asking. The most important thing that we want to get across is that while in the eye of the consumer we are a "new" tequila, the spirit itself is not. We use an age-old recipe straight from Mexico, developed by a family producing tequila for the sake of their livelihood. Their sources of sustenance and income came from the tequila they made, so they were careful to produce the best possible product.

We are not trying to establish ourselves as anti-Patron or anything like that, but we aren't focused on mass producing liquor for the sake of profit. We like to say that we're an ultra-premium tequila at a super-premium price. We know that the rewards will come from the quality. Ambhar is a tequila that Mexico and Mexicans can be proud of, one that upholds the standards and expectations the Mexican people have come to expect from one of their most prized products.

It's smooth, it's pure and it's flavorful. It all makes sense when you taste it, but until then, hopefully that gives you a snapshot of what we're trying to accomplish and the standards of integrity and quality we hold ourselves to when making Ambhar.

Haha, I would if I could! Only the big bosses are in charge of that right now and as far as I know we aren't in the process of sending sample bottles yet. I'm working on changing that for you though, trust me.

Aside from that, we are very close beginning distribution in Cali. I'll be sure to let you know once that goes official.

Also, I hate to say it, but we aren't available in the Wynn or the Palms as of yet, so we won't even be there for purchase for your meetup. We're in casinos and bars very close though, so take the party to the Venetian or Planet Hollywood and give us a go!
