The group I'm heading out with next month is much more of a casual crowd than I'm used to. They're mostly from a small town in Oregon, and are pretty tomboy-ish. Don't get me wrong, I can ride a dirtbike too, but I can also rock the 4" heels when I want. Not so much with this crowd. They just aren't frequent Vegas visitors, and aren't used to getting that dressed up.

Any thoughts on where we can go where they can get in with jeans and possibly tennis shoes too? I can only come up with Margaritaville... Apparently they LOVE going out dancing, so we don't necessarily need dive bar suggestions.

Who knows, maybe they'll surprise me, but I'd like to have some ideas just in case...

    Thanks!!
    Mel.
Oh, P-tr-ck, I STILL need to borrow your German Leg Breaking Machine....Thx.

There's the Beauty Bar downtown - haven't been, but heard some good things from the locals I know in LV who like more casual places. Could also check out Wasted Space in the Hard Rock... Not sure about the tennis shoes, but it's a ton more laid back than a normal club/lounge.

Eye Candy Sound Lounge and Bar (located inside of Mandalay Bay) is sort of a cross between a casino bar and a nightclub. There is no velvet rope or dress code that I know of. However, the music can be good and they have a dance floor that gets pretty busy on the weekends.
At one point, I think there was actually a review of the place here at one point. Not sure if it's still around!

Carnival Court would be perfect. You can dress any way you want..they have dancing....flair bartenders...huge bar....always a good time and always busy. Basically a outdoor nightclub. I have had bottle reservations at clubs and not wanted to leave.

Your best bet would be picking any one of these places:

They have great prices, and casual crowds are welcomed as well.

I totally forgot about this place! We stumbled across it as we were working our way up the strip, made it up to NY NY, and turned around and went back. We had the best time people watching! Oddly enough, Mina Suvari was there and watching the tourists freak out was great!! This is definitely on the list. Thanks for the reminder!

When I went, my crew wasn't into the table-and-bottle routine, so we just hit some loungey-type places. Rhumbar at the Mirage was a favorite, as was Nine Fine Irishmen. Both were great places to chill with a drink or five.
