Help Please

Hey everyone, I'm going to vegas with 3 friends Monday August 11th-Thursday the 14th, staying at MGM. I have read a bunch of threads on the board and most of them were about the weekends. We are all single, 2 girls and 2 guys and we are 27-28. I was there 2 years ago with my ex, but we didn't do the club and bar scene. Another one was there also and didn't do the bar/club scene when he went. We are looking for places to go to Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday night. 2of us enjoy the clubs, including myself, but they are not a must, and we all like the bar scene. I know one of them wants to go to Coyote Ugly. Nobody including myself wants to drop a ton in a club and wait on long lines. We don't need tables. How are the club/bars on Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday nights. I see vip cards online for free admission but not positive if they are legit? I wouldn't mind checking out some of the clubs if it was possible to get in for free and not have to wait on line that long. I don't know if that's possible with the nights we are going? We are from NY and have done the NYC club scene during our college years. Also do you recommend a liquor store to stock up? I would appreciate if you can recommend any bars/clubs with no cover and long lines, or if we can get free guest list passes. Also dress code for guys? I have read pants, shoes, collared shirt? Any help would be greatly appreciated. Thanks

Best clubs to hit by night:

-Monday - JET , Prive
-Tuesday - Pure, Moon, Blush
-Wednesday - LAX, Body English, Revolution, Tao

As far as those online passes, dont waste your money! You can go to napkinnights.com and get your names on the guestlist for FREE! You shouldnt have too much trouble getting in during the week! As far as dress code for guys, yes, usually stay clear of jeans, but make sure they have dress shoes and a nice shirt. The club scene in vegas is dress to impress......there is a reason some guys dont even get in.....so have them looking sharp and you shouldnt have any trouble! Enjoy

for what you guys are looking for I would suggest blush at wynn, tabu at mgm which is kind of a lounge its small but I think it will be right up your ally by the sounds of it, BUT the palms is always a great choice too, over there you have ghostbar, nine steakhouse bar and the island bar which always seems to have a good crowd. Like engineer said revelolution is good. as for the liquor store go to gold coast across from palms and their is one inside their that is a favorite of the board. enjoy!

engineerguy, do the guest lists get you in for free, or just reduced admission, or just get you in quicker? or do they vary at certain places?

it varies and it all matters on the door guys! I have had my name on the guestlist and got right in, no cover, and I have had other times where they take me to the pay line, just a bit faster than waiting. All depends on their mood. Slip them a few $$ and it might help the process a little better.
