The art of ditching, that is...

I just found out my boss will be in Vegas the same week I am. And he wants to get together for, and I quote "A drink--or maybe ten!"... but I don't really want to be in Vegas with my boss lol Bad enough that I see him all the time, but I can never be myself around him.

And I know if we go for drinks, he will want to have dinner.. then he will ask what we are doing the next.. etc... etc.. and my entire vacation will be ruined.

What's the best way to ditch him?

hosts are what we call commutable, pay them to NOT let him in where you are.....by the way you forgot the part where he invites you back to his room

you want a pay raise though dont you???? hahaha I have the perfect excuse, i KNOW IT WORKS; tell him right after you get there that you forgot your phone charger and your phone might die and he can only contact you at your hotel room, tell him to leave messages there for you and then just tell him you were too drunk to function and didnt check messages

Sounds like he definitely wants to get in on the action hahah Your best bet is to have a guy by your side during the time with your boss. Then he will think that you are already there with a 'special' someone and you are going to spend time with them.
