Is it too late for table reservations?

We are 4 girls in our early 30s headed to Vegas this weekend, July 18. Do you think we'll be able to reserve a table this late? I just emailed the hosts listed for TAO and PURE to check availablity and pricing.

I've never been to Vegas but was in South Beach 3 years ago. Are the lines/issues with getting in the same? We had a very attractive group of 8 girls and we didn't get in free anywhere (if I recall correctly.) However, we didn't normally have to wait and we didn't do bottle service. And no one did anything to plan ahead as far as reservations, networking, etc.

We are staying at The Rio. Any thoughts on the nightlife there?

We definitely want to hit TAO, PURE and for sure and I'm seeing that Christian Audegier's place seems like a new and perhaps hot interesting place. Thoughts? Also, we are thinking of PRIVE.

Two of us are here through Wed so suggestions for Sun/Mon/Tue would be appreciated. (We are here for work so unfortunately no fun day activities or sleeping period for us!)

you girls shouldnt have any trouble getting in! I would say you should be able to get bottle service, perhaps try calling as well. But, if you ladies are hotties than you should likely find a few guys with a vip table and just hang with them! You save money and drink free, hell thats what most ladies do. But ultimately you should have ANY trouble getting in!

you shouldnt have a problem getting a table at all. since youre staying at the rio and the nightlife is just OK there, you can walk across the street to the palms where there is always something going on. sun night tryst is good, but I think the spot is BANK, monday try out foundation room in mandalay its a private club open to the public.

Myself and a few are flying in tonight staying at the rio. The hip scene has changed at the rio but we dont complain since all of us pretty much get free rooms whenever.

Access to the strip is very easy via the rio shuttles that drop you off at Paris and Caesars. Sometimes we even turn that shuttle into a little party bus for a short time LOL!

Also accross the street is Palms. You will notice the difference from the palms and rio as soon as you walk in. The energy/vibe is higher at the palms, if you like sushi check out little buddah. Great atmosphere, food etc. Very cool. While your there after dinner check out the bar at n9ne steakhouse, grab dessert and order up some smores, amazing! Loud and fun. Hit the ghostbar early evening 9ish enjoy another amazing view then around 11 hit the playboy and moon. We have done this itinerary plenty of times and have never been dissapointed. It should be hot enough for the roof to retract at moon.

Before Check in We stock our rooms with booze from the liqour store accross the street (gold coast) and we usually kick it off at the voodoo lounge on top of the rio for a couple hours. Take in the view here, no cover charge and not very pretentious. Friendly people but not poppin as much as a major club. We dont mind this because the view and convenience make up for that.

You will have plenty of time to be in the "scene". The pools at the rio are great, usually a dj spinning and poolside black jack.

The gameplan for us is
thu: Tao food and Tao club LOL
fri: pool and fat Tuesday by day tryst at night
both nights after hours at drais.

Saturday is a different story. Usually Saturday night we break from the major club action because its complete chaos. 30 minute cab lines and twice as Many people there than there was on Friday! In my opinion if your going to do bottle service do it saturday, simply for the reasons I mentioned. Less drama getting in, Less dealing with people plus more than likely you will be tired from the night before.

You can have a plan to cover all the details or just wing it with no commitments. You will be surprised how much fun you can have by just winging it!

Deffinately come back and tell us about the highlights, if you dont we will assume A. you had a crappy time B. you want to leave what happnened in vegas in vegas. Both are unacceptable!

im a jealous son of a bitch!!! lol sounds like a nice plan! I could not agree more with the "have fun while winging it" part, I cannot tell you how many times we have had great times just roaming from hotel bar to hotel bar especially on a sat night because everywhere is pretty much hopping, you could just roam the palms all night and have an awesome time. have a drink for me and enjoy!!!

Thanks for all the great advice! Good suggestion about doing the bottle service on Sat because of the crowds. We'll probably end up doing everything at the last minute--like always. But it is normally better that way.

I'll be sure and keep you updated Like I said I'm there for work so I will be online quite a bit. Of course, I don't know how I'm going to get anything done but hey it is better than working at home!
