  • I'm Burned Out With The Vegas Club Scene

Just returned from another 4 night, 5 day stay and after taking a day to really take it all in and reflect back, I can honestly say that I have had enough of the Vegas club scene. I'm now 37 years young and have been going to Vegas 3-4 times a year for the past 6 years. I have been to every club in Vegas, and with the exception to XS, which is now my favorite and the only major club I will consider going to on my next venture, I'm done. For me, it's no fun being jammed into clubs where you can dance, you can move around and you can't get a drink. There's always someone bumbing you stepping on you or spilling their drink on you. Sorry, but this is no longer my idea of fun. As far as the hip pool scene goes, again maybe it's my age and I've out grown the 21 year old girls with their jacked up breasts and the groups of muscle head jocks who walk around like someone shoved an air-hose up their ass. I have found that I now have a much better time hanging out at places like Eye Candy, Tabu and the Foundation Room. Places with good music, a bit of an older crowd and space to move & breathe.

That stuff comes natural as you get a bit older. Now the ONLY time I go to clubs is when I go on vacations. When I was 18-24 all I cared about was going to clubs etc... Now I enjoy pubs more. But when I'm in Vegas I'm on 24/7 party/go to clubs mode. I'm there for 4 days usually on full throttle.

Well I will be at Tabu if theres no chance we can go to XS Its actually not that bad, I always have a good time there. Could be a sign of age?

Clubs can get old no matter what your age is! All that matters is that you have other options. Maybe you are just burnt out from your trip?

wait till the JC meet up in 2010 to go again -- we'll make sure we're crazy to the point the crowds wont bother you and the jacked up breasts will look saggy :P

okay im disappointed no trip review and getting tired of the scene. J/k people grow out of things it happens dont worry about it. Where one adventure ends another begins
I swear feels like the last few nights we've been everywhere and back but I just cant remember it all
