Glad I booked Bellagio early...

Rates have doubled now for the weekend of Nov 12-15.....

With the big boxing fight plus a holdiay on the Wed in the US and Canada, things are gonna be busy.....

Can't wait to hit the bottle service each night...and the bottles during the day....and the afternoon....

Yeah, I'm sorta in the same boat. We booked in June (yes I was THAT excited) without looking at the calender. I didn't realize that I'd have Wednesday off from the holiday...and so now I'm looking to stretch the trip another day and add Thursday as well but I can't get the same rates on the hotel! ARG! The other problem is money. We'd budgeted for three and a half days (the last days are usually hungover affairs with little spending in them) and now will have another day and night to explore the seedy JC underworld. We booked the Venetian at 175 a day...(btw, found this through the Kayak app on my iPhone...totally +1 to Kayak)

So, option 1: we could extend our stay at the Venetian but that would really stretch the hotel portion of our budgets and might jeopardize our bottle service a little (ok it won't but I do want to eat that day!)

Option 2: we could stay at a place like Circus Circus or Imperial Palace, Fremont, Luxor, Excalibur etc. I've checked and its all about 30-70 right now for Thursday.

Option 3: we could totally downgrade to the above mentioned hotels and just rebook all four nights there. (Some in my party are pretty hooked on the sunken living rooms there though and I would lose political capital if I switched)

Have any of you switched hotels in the middle of a trip like this? Is it a big hassle? Whats your take on these hotels? Really appreciate all of your wisdom in this matter and I LOVE THIS WEBSITE! Buzzo, sorry to have sorta made this little post longer than it was supposed to be.

Id go with option 2 just book a room at the luxor, its a decent place and hell youre in vegas! I have actually switched hotels in the middle of the trip and its not a bad thing and easy to day especially to save money for partying.

Just changed my promo and got my stay for Nov. 12-16 down to $600 at the Wynn. Fight weekend. Lets do it big.

I would look into Flamingo as well...good hotel...good price..good location..

Also its no big deal switching rooms in the middle of the trip if it will let you save some cash...

i would just book one of the hotels at a cheap rate for the Thursday...you are not gonna sleep much anyways!
