But, anybody every figured out what the cheapest/efficient way to get 8 guys from McCarran to the strip (flamingo Hotel)?

Uh... Two taxis? Four per cab, fare/tip total of around $20 - $5 a head.

yeah Limo would be my choice its going to be a lot more expensive than a couple of cabs, but it would beat having to wait in line for taxi's. the limo driver would be there waiting for you. But since there is 8 of you, you would need to get a super stretch prolly.... Check out Presidential Limo's, although I have never used them I've read countless great reviews. You'll get the limo for an hr and u can drive up n down the street with some champagne.. or wat not.. give them a call them might be able to quote you wats better than listed on the website.. if too much just go with the taxi's or the bus shuttle some hotels have.... or you can always hoof it

I looked them up not too long ago and it's like $60ish an hour for the limo that fits 6... I think the bigger one is like $80

Cab lines are not bad at the airport anyway. Don't take the shuttle, a cab will be about the same cost for everyone and a shuttle will have a lot of stops.

If you can pickup a limo for $80 grab one spend $10 a person and like Cisco said arrive in style. Or you could all just run there.

I think it was Memorial Day Weekend last year where I arrived on a Friday and my flight touched down at 9pm ... I got into a taxi roughly an hour and a half later. Peak time, forget about it especially on a holiday weekend. Better plan ahead if you are going LDW!

You should be able to go into Buy Mode and buy a car for your Sims. If you are open to downloading custom content, you can actually find other buyable transportation such as motorcycles.

I heard with presidential limos, you get the limo for an hour, but the hour starts the moment your plane lands, not the moment you step into it....can anyone confirm?

I just booked with them( Presidential) for my Oct trip and yes it is true... the hour starts when your plane lands and or when your driver gets there. I believe they track your flight and have the driver waiting for you at your baggage claim area. This is my first time using them so, Im just going off the info I got when I booked my reservation.

Couldn't you just book for 20-30 minutes after your flight gets there? That's surprising if they track your flight. I would just say "I want my limo at X:XXam/pm".

Then again, I don't want to sit in the car for an hour anyway when i'm there. It's nice to arrive in style but there is too much else on the agenda to hang out in a car for me.

shuttle wasn't that bad

We took one of the many shuttles, and from baggage to inside the van was inside of 5 minutes. We made it to the MGM in about 15 minutes. Pickup was a little slower, but by the time you're leaving vegas you don't notice as much. We waited outside with our bags for about 20 minutes. Total cost for 2 people was 24 bucks plus tip. 6 bucks each way.

We have a few more of us going this time and I've looked at some of the prices and I thought that they did a standard airport pickup. Depending on how many of us go it should be about 15 dollars each person.
