Sept 16-20 Newbie from London + Dubai !

My names David, I am half-scottish, half-armenian and have lived in Dubai most my life.

I will be moving to LA to study 1 year at UCLA and will be in vegas with a couple friends from london/dubai (both guys) and was wondering about some recommendations about partying. Don't want to spend more than 500 dollars each for those 4 night yes im cheap :P

I've seen some really good prices on Hard Rock at Travelocity and Orbitz..

(btw, if you are from Dubai, shouldn't you be looking for the most expensive? )

Welcome to the forums,

I would get the VIP Wristbands from wanttickets for one night of your stay. With them you'll have free entrance to ditch fridays (Pool Party at the Palms Pool) and free admission to all Palms Clubs at night (Ghostbar, Rain, Moon and Playboy Club). You can also skip all the lines.

The Wristbands are 60$ but are worth every penny.

Patrick's right on the money about the Palms wristbands. that'll save you a ton of time and trouble. You'll obviously have to stay away from bottle service with that budget ($500 spread across 4 nights if I understood correctly), but you'll have a blast anyway. Just pre-drink properly (if you drink that is) and make sure to line up early, preferably with three girls for each of the three of you guys.

Haha that's what I was thinking. When I visited Dubai in '06 times were great and it seemed like everyone was swimming in $ over there. But hey, this recession is hitting Dubai pretty hard too from what I understand.

and the cover for rain alone was 30$ on the night we've used the wristbands. Plus you have the cover for ditch (how much is that anyway?????)
So go for them and call this night your VIP night.

Also go for the flaks Warren had. They are perfect for taking some shots once inside.

Another solid tip I can give you is the Liqour Store at Gold Coast and be sure to sign up for the Players Card. That will safe you another 10% on the booze.

For Weds I'd go with WS/BE and consider doing bottle service at one of those spots. I think WS has bottles for $300 that night. Plus if you dont do bottle service they usually do an open bar for a couple of hours

I'm taking at least 2 with me, their not that big and fit 7.5 oz in them
