i know some clubs allow sneakers, my question is, does Jet usually hassle people with sneakers? i primarily wear nike air force one's...does anyone know if this will pose a problem? what type of sneakers are unacceptable and which ones are denied?

I honestly haven't seen anyone in AF1's in the club. I have seen some chuck taylors here and there which works with certain stylish outfits. I would avoid wearing it all together.

thats crazy, i'd think af1's would be more stylish than chucks...i guess it depends on how "loud" the af1's are...but i stay from the loud colors...thanks man!

Air Force 1's are considered stylish in certain kinds of circles (urban, hipster, etc.).

I like to dress down around town at home, but dressing up definitely helps and will cause you less problems.

For some clubs, I've had friends that were denied for wearing "stylish" Chuck Taylors. Luckily they had a pair of dress shoes and just needed to go back to the hotel to change.

Personally, I have worn the "stylish" chucks before and one friend seems to always bring and get in with Timberlands (he's a pretty "urban" guy), but we always bring backups.

Most of the places I hit, I'll know someone and I think that helps.

No need to risk it - if you're really concerned, but want to rock the AF1's, get there early and see if it flies... If not, go back to the room and change into the basic blacks (of course, would work best if you were staying at the Mirage). Could also contact the host, I guess, but I'd imagine he'd say no anyway...

Just another thought. If you are getting tables, you can get in with jesus sandals if you wanted to Rules are also different from one patron to another.
