I'm planning 2 weeks in Vegas in December. My holiday falls over the Vegas Marathon and the Rodeo. Always fun, the marathon has folks come from all over the US, and many only do 1/2 marathon so that they can still party at night. The rodeo is lots of fun too, and I'm keen on the Australian and Canadian cowgirls that come in to town.
It's the only time of year when I dig country music, and I've even bring out a cowboy hat (this is a MUST for anyone else considering going to Vegas during Rodeo). I'll spend a lot of time at T. Keith's and Stoney's over the vacation.
I just booked Excalibur for $22 most nights, they hotel isn't great, but I use the $20 trick and always get upgraded.
