I've never met Brandon Ring but...
he took care of a group that I organized for a bachelorette party. It was like 25 girls. They had a table out on the Terrace.
About 1 1/2 hours later, it started to rain. It was July 2008. How it rained on the only night in July, I'll never know.
I ended up getting a call not longer than 15 minutes after it rained. The girls lost their table. Worry not, Brandon took care of the girls, got them a table inside and got them a bottle for what had happened.
(On the other side of town, the bachelor's party was at LAX that I did for 20 guys and they were taken care of by Brandon Grady.) He put them in the loft and all I know is they had a GOOD time.

I think the porter and security do a lot more for your table than the waitress does. I've only had one instance where the waitress actually waited on our table. Most of the time, they're so spread thin. I think the only time they aren't like this is if you're spending mass $$$ and buying like 123 bottles.
I've actually had waitresses that were serious bitches (i.e. they were rude, they wouldn't take a picture with someone in my group even though it was their birthday, waiting for them for over 45 minutes, etc.). I've had to complain to the general manager in that case.

hahaha well living in the rust belt and the armpit of america does have a few advantages that are far out numbered but the lousy weather, and lack proximity to the ocean.
