Ive searched on here and have been a lurker for a week or so but have not found any or much info on the Rio.
Myself and 3 of my buddies will be in Vegas from the 13th - 16th - (Thurs - Sun)
I think we got a good deal...booked through allegiant airlines, direct flight from Wichita, KS and after all the airport fees/hotel taxes etc...for 2 rooms/4 beds/airfare it was $384/person
We are all 26-29. This will be my 4th trip to Vegas...Ive been to the Voodoo lounge once before but only for about an hour, the place was dead and the doorman let us in for free - I think we got there around 1am. If I remember the weather patterns in Vegas in the Summer the Wind blows like crazy so it wasnt too pleasant to be outside, however for guys from Wichita where our tallest building is 24 stories, being up that high was nice.
Havent heard or been to any of the other clubs, just checked them out on the website.
Also how is the poker room? Ive played in a few others just not this one. I wanna play some 4-8 limit hold em or no limit 1/2 with $100-500 buy in.
Any tips/info is appreciated.
I think weve decided we are going to purchase the wrist bands for the Palms on Friday the 14th, however I cant decide if i should buy them online or just go to the store.

One last thing that I havent quite figured out yet. Thurs - better to go to Tao or Tryst? from what Ive read it seems hard to even walk around in Tao? I dont mind it but I dont like having to fight to even move around. Also as for guest lists...Just text the people who are listed on here and they can make it happen? And will that usually include cover? And one last question...(I promise) if I get in with no cover through a guest list who do I tip and how much...I was thinking between 4 people, 2x the cover to whomever lets us in if its quick and cover is waived.
