  • Heading to Vegas on the 20th !!

So far I've reserved tables at Tryst on Thursday night, Pure (terrace) on Friday night, Bare on Saturday and XS for the night. Haven't been to any of these venues so I'm looking forward to seeing how they measure up.

Cheers guys. The wealth of info. on here is invaluable. The thing that annoys me about bottle service (or European Bottle Service as some places like to call it) in Vegas is that you have to wait in-line (sometimes for a ridiculous period of time) even if you have a VIP reservation. Coming from London, I'm not used to 'doing queues'. Saying that, I've never queued in places like Ibiza (10,000 capacity venues, so size and crowds are much more than Vegas clubs), St. Tropez, New York, LA etc. but instead escorted in immediately as you would expect. You may well say 'this is Vegas' but regardless, it's not the way VIP services should be managed. 'European bottle service' - I just wish that they would try to mirror the European standard of service. Making people with VIP reservations stand in queues is not acceptable and with a little organisation, this could be avoided. The sad thing is, they probably like the arrangement and get a kick out of it. I'll stop ranting now - sorry, had to get that out of my system.

as long as you have a phone # for your host, and you stay in contact with him, you shouldnt have to wait (except at XS).

Yeah I've been reading about XS - that's what got my back up. I mean I know it's a fairly new club but they need to get their act together.

nyc?? youve never had to wait in line in NY??? huh, its a ridiculous madhouse, vegas is nothing compared to ny. with regard to XS, as long as people wait in line they are not going to change anything, its simple supply and demand logic....people just need to not go there and not wait in line and you can bet your ass they will change their act

You're spot on there nyc. As for NY, maybe I was lucky, although the hotel did have very good contacts with the club and they treated me well.
