Las Vegas clubs in January?

Hey everyone this is my first post here (yes I have read all the guides and other posts)...

Anyways I wanted to go to Vegas right after New Years for my birthday on the dates between the 3-6th of January... I have 2 questions...


1. I am interested in getting a table on a monday night, what would be the best choice JET or XS or something else? I am afraid of being sat outside in the cold at XS. Also which one would be cheaper / more laid back... there would be about 5 guys and 4 girls with us in the group.

2. I am planning to stay in a Penthouse suite at the Bellagio, do I get into The Bank for free ect or get any other perks besides free limo pickup from the airport?

Good question on being outside at XS in the winter months. I just texted my connect there and he says the outside will be closed during the winter months. If I were u I would go with Prive on a monday its always a good time.

the dates you are going are def going to be slower than normal, you can pretty much get into anywhere without a huge headache and Im sure the hype with XS will die down by then, im sure you can talk to the bellagio about gettinginto bank for free especially at that time of year

I went for my bachelor party a few years ago on like January 15th. It was easy to get in everywhere, not to say the places werent packed, but it was easy to get in.

Thanks for the help everyone... since it will be a slow time and an odd day of the week will the bottles cheaper? There are gonna be 8-9 in our group so will they give me a 2-3 bottle minimum too? What happens if I say its 4 of us and our girl friends just get into on their own?

I dont think the bottle prices will be any cheaper, but the minimums will be less. If the girls get in on their own and "meet" you at the table maybe the minimum will be even less, but who knows, with girls everything changes.

+1..... if you get a table at that time of the year and off night it will prob be a 1 bottle min for 4 peeps, but lets be real here if there are 8-9 people youre gonna do a second bottle so its not really worth trying to maneuver the situation.

1. You sure picked a great set of dates to come to vegas. They hype of NYE will be over and clubs will be glad to fill every table (such a grind to sell tables that week). That being said, I would hit up body or XS on sun, XS or Prive (if they are open) on mon and Pure or moon on Tues. Please remember that all or none of these clubs may change their nights or even their names by january, so check back with the boards as the dates get closer.

2. Put the girls on the guest list and see if you can get any bottles specials. It never hurts to ask and since its a industry night, they may give you a bottle for free. please refer to my tip guide for info on gratuities.

3. The bank nightclub is owned by "The Light Group" and not by the Bellagio or MGM/Mirage properties, so i wouldn't count on getting anything for the bank. You can always contact Robert (JC listed host for Bank) and see if he can take care of you since your staying there.

Agreed, 8 to 9 people will drink 1 bottle in no time.

26oz in a bottle... 8-9 people = approx 3oz each.

Yeah but your judging it by true ounce drinks. Like a mixed drink is only supposed to be 1 oz of liquor (so by that standard its 3 drinks a person), but i know when i make my drinks theres a lot more than 1 oz. My group would probably get 1 drink each, maybe 1 1/2 out of it.

I have usually gone in January and it's not too bad. I have always had a good time going in January/February. I tend to shy away from "big" weekends because of the douchebag factor.

Bit OT, but i am a new member & wandering if anyone can give advice. I've read the website & most of the topics in the forum, but i will be in vegas Nov 10 - 17 & will be takin the Pac v Cotto fight. We will be in a party of 5 guys & will be lookin for Table service.

Advice on nights & venues would be appreciated.

Also will it be busy that time of year???

it wont be slamming busy but it will be fun, and its always busier than normal on a fight weekend. with 5 guys you should be looking at buying 2 bottles for tables and as for night and places checkout the nightclub reviews page......welcome aboard! let us know if you have specific places in mind for ceratin nights and we can help you figure something out

Out of the 7 days we will probably be looking to go to clubs Wed, Fri & Sun night.

From the JC main site probably Wed - Lax, Fri - Pure and Sunday The Bank as we are staying at the Bellagio, unless you guys can advise me better???

We will probably avoid clubbing Sat night as i don't know what time the fight will finish and you guys advise gettin to a club early on a weekend & especially a fight night???

we may just hang around the MGM bars & casino etc... again unless you guys can give better advice.
