+1 - great views, great setting for the photogs among us, just the right temperature to hike/climb. Or just to take in the natural beauty of the area. And? It's free [aside from the gas or rental car to/fro there]. Definitely going back there when I return to Vegas in Nov or Dec.

Ive done indoor skydiving in Vegas which was really cool. Or you could just go do the real thing there also But it might be a little cold.

I actually did a cold season LV trip. I spent 2 nights in LV and got away from the cold and took a 1hr 30 min drive down to Havasu. I had a fairly good time chilling at the lake and the weather was still in the upper 90's. This was the first week of November I m talking about.

I was at my bachelor party in Vegas in January a few years ago. Yeah it was cold but it didnt stop us from doing anything outside.
