When i go to Vegas on LDW for the bachelor party my wife is heading with the bachelorette party to Chi-town. Now seeing that we all are master of Vegas, i know that people know a lot about their own cities and she was asking for some help in Chicago. Their a group of 5 girls and their staying in the Hard Rock on Magnificent Mile. Ive been to Chicago before but i havent been in a long time so i really dont know the party scene there that well.

What are the best things to do in Chicago for girls? Their not really into the male strip clubs, but more looking for clubs/bars. What are the best bar and clubs there right now that are in that neighborhood? Or what else is there to do on the weekend? Im sure one night they will go to Navy Pier but none of them really know what else is going on.

Any input is appreciated

Haha. I have a few friends that promote. They have stuff going on all the time at the best clubs. I can get them on guest lists and they'll usually throw in free bottles of champagne for groups of 6 or more girls.

I can't promise I could make it out or be a tour guide, but if you let me know the dates i'll see what I can do for them.

Edit to add: You have me on facebook so I can send you the event invites on those dates and they can look at them to see if they are interested too. Oh and I saw it's 5 girls not 6, but maybe I could pull something. My 3rd edit, I see the dates. LDW. Wow i'm out of it. When I get stuff i'll get it out to you.

There is some stuff around there but everything is really spread out in Chicago so they will more than likely just have to cab wherever. I won't send anything that I wouldn't attend myself or someplace I haven't been that I know isn't hopping. As time gets closer i'll have more stuff.

A few suggestions: Underground, Smartbar, Angels & Kings...

My personal fave neighborhood for going out is Bucktown/Wicker Park. Mid 20s-Mid 30s crowd w/ great music. Fave places: Plan B, Empire Liquors, Crocodile. Others will have differing opinions tho...

It kind of depends if they want cliche bachelorette party stuff, or trendy martini lounge type of stuff.

I do not recommend Navy Pier, btw. Way too many tourists, kids, etc. Tell them to hit the beach instead. North Ave. is the most popular, a little too crowded for my taste, but usually a great time.

All great suggestions. Metromix is definitely a good resource. A few of my recent favorites are Le Passage and Bon V.

Wrigleyville down Clark is a personal favorite for me as it's pretty laid back and a young crowd.

If i end up in Chicago at some point hell yeah were going out! Yeah i have a feeling their looking for more trendy lounge/club type places, not so much your typical bachelorette stuff because their not really like that. Thanks for the suggestions so far!

Yeah for sure. A friend has stuff going there all the time. Maybe we'll grab some bottles there. Tonight there is a Body Painting Fashion Show there haha.

I normally don't dress up except last year I was forced. We'll see what happens, but I have a feeling I won't be this year. I have sort of a bet going where if something happens i'll wear a certain costume but it's a tossup at this point.
