Haha, stay away from the Desert Eagle then. Any small caliber handgun like a 9mm is going to have barely any kick. The Glock 17/19 or even the Beretta 92G are good options. Just make sure you have a good tight grip and someone there to watch you.Originally posted by tangoplus View Postlol i dont think i want to shoot machine guns. can you tell me what is easier? long guns or hand guns? like really, i have never shot anything in my life.. i saw videos on youtube of women shooting big guns and the gun flying out of their hand and hitting their foreheads

An M4 is lightweight and easy to fire. It's definitely not going to fly up anywhere. To be honest the M249 isn't going to fly anywhere either. You're not going to fire it unsuppported (meaning it will be on it's bipod) and it has the weight to support itself. I would say give it a try it will be an experience. Start with the smaller weapons first though it will build confidence.
Safety is the big key. I hate firing at civilian ranges because you never know what someone else is going to do. Follow the instructions they give you, be aware of where you are pointing the weapon, when it's loaded/unloaded, and if the safety is on or off. Other than that, have fun! It's a great release. All this shooting talk is making me itchy.

They don't make weapons that would blow your shoulder off. Who would buy that? Haha.Originally posted by Keebler View PostWhich gun has the most kick? Like when i fire it the thing would blow my shoulder off?
The bigger the caliber though, the larger the kick in most cases. Especially with a weapon like the Desert Eagle. A handgun in .50 caliber. Doesn't make sense to me, seems more of a "can we do this" type thing with having a gas operated pistol.
The rounds can make a difference as well. I'm sure they don't give you any powerful loads in anything you're shooting. Definitely enough to hit the target.
I think firing one of the old flame throwers from WW II would be cool. One of if not the most inhumane weapons there ever was, but totally awesome.

Considering her experience, Id start off with a .22 handgun or rifle.Blackout Artist

I completely agree, but I feel like this place isn't going to have anything small caliber like that.Originally posted by dnix View PostConsidering her experience, Id start off with a .22 handgun or rifle.
A 9mm or 5.56 (.223) isn't going to be too bad for anyone except children with the proper training. I guess that's another question though. I don't know their protocol there.
For the low low price of a plane ticket to Vegas though, you can have your own military qualified small arms instructor to come help you in your adventure tango!

I shot a Double Barreled Shotgun once, back when I was 11 years old. I definitely thought my shoulder blew off.Originally posted by Keebler View PostWhich gun has the most kick? Like when i fire it the thing would blow my shoulder off?
Ok, jokes apart. You could fire the MP5 SMG. It's the easiest machine gun to fire, and you can move up from there.Originally posted by tangoplus View Postlol i dont think i want to shoot machine guns. can you tell me what is easier? long guns or hand guns? like really, i have never shot anything in my life.. i saw videos on youtube of women shooting big guns and the gun flying out of their hand and hitting their foreheads
