  • 2 single ladies in LV July 26-29 - nightlife advice, please

Us two girls are heading to LV July 26-29, and are feeling a bit overwhelmed with the number of nightlife options available. We plan on going out the Thursday and Saturday night, possibly the Friday as well. Day parties are the plan for Saturday/Sunday day. We're hooked up with a suite at the Encore. Oh, and we are both in our 30s.
Thursday night, we are thinking about going to the Cosmopolitan Hotel to hit up Chandelier and Marquee. How busy will these spots be and how difficult will it be for us, as women, to get in without a major wait in line? We're attractive, fit, dress well, and are friendly, if that helps. What other places would be a good bet on a Thursday? How insane does Tao get? Is it a sweaty sardine can? Clearly, as there are only two of us, BS is not really an option.
Friday night? Someone more low key?
Saturday, we are looking at the clubs in the Wynn/Encore, but cannot decide which to hit up. The preference is for smaller, but not small, happening, stylish spots with a good vibe. DJ lineup is not a consideration, nor is cost.
So? The good people of the jackcolton.com forum, what do you say? Help a couple of chicks out, will you?
    Thanks!

I would reserve Marquee on a Friday or Saturday. You'll get the full effect of the club on a weekend night. Contact Noahram here on the forum. He posts often. He's a contact for Marquee guestlist.
Saturday if you plan to stay at Encore, XS or Surrender are the only and main choices. They are both great clubs. Actually 2 of the top 3 in town at this moment IMO and many others as well.

I'm not familiar much on Thursday clubs so I'm sure someone will chime in on their opinions. I'll be in town that weekend as well with some friends. We havent looked up who the DJs are at each club so we havent decided yet.

Oh and as women, you'll get in no problem. Once you get on the guestlist, you just have to arrive around 11pm and you'll get in with very little or no wait.

    ***June 2012 - Aria - Marquee ***July 2012 - Monte Carlo - XS
    ***Aug 2012 - Aria - Marquee, XS ***Oct 5-6 - Monte Carlo - Marquee

I've heard the same advice regarding XS and Surrender for guests of the hotel (and for unlucky non-guests!). And we'll be there, too!

Due to the "sweaty sardine can" comment....I'd recommend Tryst on Thursday. It's one of the top spots on Thursday and you can step outside more easily if you need to get some air. That said, if you do Tao you can always head out to Tao Beach for a break from the madness if you need.
Like all great travelers, I've seen more than I remember, and remember more than I have seen.

Tao on Thursdays is way too packed if you do not have a table.

Nothing happening Thursday at Marquee. You can hit up Surrender Splash Dance, a nighttime pool party, or Tao. I'd say skip Thursday and do Marquee Friday and XS Saturday. XS feels more stylish to me and also feels smaller than Surrender, even with the back opened up.

Just find a promoter and get guestlisted.

Thank you for the advice everyone, I'm making notes.
We're hooked up with a couple of promoters and are still open for Sat night - XS does sound like the best bet, reading over the board. We fly out tomorrow morning - so excited!
