The lawsuit states the decision to block access is because landlords are uncomfortable with the demographics of Poetry's clientele, which is primarily black. Caesars and Simon deny the allegation.

Hmm closing this club down, and calling the other place "Pure". Sure makes you wonder doesn't it?

While the circumstances that led to this are more than unfortunate, this serves as an opportunity for Goodwin to build something even better. Looking forward to seeing where the new club will be!

couldn't they wait until after Aug 21? sucks. hopefully someone does open a REAL all hip hop club, not just the small ass top floor of a restaurant....

I've never been here, but wanted to check it out...hopefully they will reopen somewhere else, since I'm not usually at Caesars anyway.

Last trip, I was too tired on the Sat night to meet some friends we met the night before. My friends and I freakin missed out...he partied with Antoine Walker there-former Boston Celtic (Huge Boston fan here) I was pissed! Now I don't go to bed til 4 am min just in case!
Funny, cause about 2 weeks ago I read a story where Antoine owes Caesars big bucks for unpaid markers...go figure!

I love hip hop but I've never been here. I do know people that went there only because it was mainly black people (not like it should mean anything, but it's true).
As either OPM or Poetry, I'm just curious as to why they would have chosen the Forum Shops?
Maybe they'll move into where C.A. is? Hmmm...

This sucks! The one time I went it was great! They had a table that fit the 15 of us and they have the least expensive bottle service on the strip plus great hookah! Hope they open somewhere bigger and better
