Is it worth it for a group of girls to get bottle service @ Marquee or XS?

In August, a group of seven us girls are contemplating on getting bottle service for Saturday night. For either Marquee or XS. I know its a lot easier for girls to get into clubs, especially if we show up early and get on guestlists. What I want to know is it really worth to spend the money? Do they cut better bottle service for girls? If I am getting BS I want a good table. How much is a good tip for the host/waitress/bouncer?

How much do people usually give a host for getting them in, and not stand in line? Or the bouncer that lets you cut in front of everyone? I usually try to give them between $10-$20 for each girl. I want to make sure I am tipping what they usually expect.

If you want a place to sit and gather as a group, it's definitely worth getting bottle service.
It seems from other posters that all female groups can get lower minimums with better locations, depending upon whether or not
a big name DJ is spinning that night. Opinions as to what a "good" host tip amounts to vary widely. IMO...a good tip that has some weight as to where your table is located is about 20% of your spend if spending less than $2000 on your minimum. The server gratuity is typically the same. I suggest $20 at the beginning of the night for the runner and each security guard working your area.

$10-20/lady for hosted entry is reasonable, again depending on if there is a big name DJ that night. If you're just wanting to bypass the line I'd suggest contacting a host or promoter before hand and working something out, rather than trying to wing it at the rope.

Yes, all girl groups can get lower minimums then guy groups most night depending on the amount of people and what you're looking to spend.

I think bottle service is always worth in. I like to have a place to sit and my own area to dance in without people bumping into me. I don't always do bottle service, but when I do, I remember how much better it is.

The waitress will have auto grat from your bill, so you don't have to tip her separately. Although, if the service is great and you are having a fun time, you should tip accordingly. I can’t speak to tipping the host, as I usually book my tables through upper management. Then I give the guy that seats us a couple of hundred dollars, as he didn’t really sell me the table anyway. I think treating security well is important. They have a rough job, and deserve tips also. I usually tip the security $40-$60 in twenties throughout the night. And don’t forget the bus boy. I like to give him $40 or $60 at the end of the night also.

If you want to build a relationship and plan on going back, tipping well is important.

I have never tipped for the guest list. I have tried but the bouncers never accept it. I do think $10-$20 per girl is an adequate amount, though.
