Hi guys!

Headed to Vegas weekend of July 6 for a 25th b-day party. Have a table at Pure for the 7th for the birthday girl (10 guys 8 Girls), but that Friday, when we arrive we wanted to slow play it and check out some bars / lounges, but don't want to walk around aimlessly either without a plan. Where are some nice spots on the strip? Could be divey, could have a DJ, just don't want long lines like a club. Just a place we could walk right into and start drinking! Thanks!

Chuck's suggestions are good ones, but where are you staying?

We're all staying different places. Majority at MGM Grand. Good to know those two places are good ones. Any other suggestions?

MIX is also good at THE Hotel.
Gold Lounge at Aria.
Rhumbar at Mirage.
You could do Lounge hours at Hyde and stay if you feel like partying hard.
The Pub at Monte Carlo is great if you feel like a low key night and like craft beers.
Honestly though, the best time I've had recently just winging it was on the Casino Level of Cosmo.

We played a slot for a minute waiting for friends to arrive and got a free drink. Stopped in Vesper Bar for an amazing cocktail.
I had some Rum concoction...one of those places you can just ask the bartender to make you something and it will be killer.
Swang by Book & Stage to watch a band for a minute. Headed over to The Henry to meet our friends and have another drink.
Noticed the Go-Go Dancers and crazy lighting in Bond so we hung out there for drink and danced a bit. Then we went and played Baccarat for a bit and hit up Chandlier for a couple drinks before we left to go gamble more at Monte Carlo. It was a blast, I think we were there for about 4 hours or so total. Oh...and we ate dinner at Cosmo that night also...an Italian place...can't remember the name off hand.
