JackColton.com Forum Rules:
Because the only good rules are the ones that are easy to remember, we only have a few guidelines around these parts.
1) No Solicitations. We don’t allow solicitations of any kind within the forums, and this especially includes members of the Las Vegas nightlife industry who want to sell their hosting and guest list services to our members.
The only exception is if a host or promoter is replying to a member’s question, which specifically asks about their venue. Hosts who bend the rules get kicked out. If you’d like to know why, read the explanation in the footer.
2) Be Respectful. If you are a dick on here, we will ban you. Members should always be respectful of one another, and shouldn’t resort to personal attacks.
3) Be Relevant. If you are constantly posting crap that has nothing to do with anything, go somewhere else.
------------
Why the ban on host solicitations?
JackColton.com gets between 2,000 – 3,000 visitors a day, many of which are planning their upcoming Las Vegas nightlife. For obvious reasons, this is a host’s wet dream when it comes to marketing what they do, and we eventually had a mountain full of problems when scores of hosts began posting on our boards.
Members were being sold on going to clubs that they didn’t want to go to, new hosts weren’t always delivering on promises, and nearly every thread turned into an annoying race between hosts to land the customer.
