Ditto. That's definately a place you only use to sleep, shower, change.

I'd rather just pay for drinks, than have to resort to Gary's ass-vodka.
Ridiculously low price and a very good middle-of-the-strip location. Hotel is obviously not the best on the Strip, but the price more than makes up for that. Book it!
Played blackjack and craps there once since my friend was staying there. Felt like I was in some bad guys' den in a Kung-Fu movie. Kinda kitschy...and a little creepy lol
IP? To stay in? To sleep in? For $20 more a night, you could stay at the Monte Carlo, NYNY, Flamingo, or MGM. I don't buy the arguement "I'm only sleeping there" - you should be comfortable and not feel like you're shacking up in HoJo or Motel 6. Take advantage of the lower rates at the mid-rated hotels.
I just stayed at Bally's (which granted isn't super great) but was upgraded to a suite.
I had a whirlpool, which I didn't use. A living room set that was barely touched. A TV that i'm not sure if I even turned on. I spent more time at other pools than my own.
I did use:
The shower.
The sink.
The toilet.
The iron.
The ironing board.
The bed to sleep roughly 1-2 hours a night.
Oh, and the lights. I turned them on a few times.
Would I rather stay in a nicer place or suite? Yeah. Do I really need to? Probably not. If you're on a budget IP has beds, bathrooms, and is on the strip. That's about all you need.
Then again, for how much I spend gambling, I should be staying in a lot nicer rooms than I do anyway.
For multi-city itineraries or international business travel, do you usually book everything yourself or work with a travel advisor? I'm curious whether...
I enjoy how this post combines clarity and substance in a way that keeps the discussion engaging, clear, and open enough for readers with different viewpoints...
