Just found this out & thought I'd pass the info on. The Foundation Room at Mandalay Bay is now open to the general public 7 days a week. I Believe the cover is $20. If you've never been there, the club has a fantastic view of Vegas.

that, and its not very big....if youve ever been there on a monday, you cant move (not in a good crowded way). the reason why it was succesful was becasue of the exclusiveness of it, it was a nice little place to chill before going out and even spend the night there, it was an upscale good looking crowd that survived on a big money clientele that will be gone now, and noone is gonna hang there to pay $15 a drink and they dont have table service or anything....no dancefloor, unless they get rid of the restaurant portion and make it a full time club.......AND they probably just pissed off ALOT of members with this news!!Originally posted by royale View Postit's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the bossComment

Yup I knew this was coming. I'm guessing they just want some bodies in there everynite. Also a way to expose FR to nonmembers who may buy a membership in the future. Good for the general public to have the opportunity to visit, an insult to FR paying memberships. The social area is small.. And I got bored of the crowd after 1 drink there anyhow.Comment

my point is you would have to go to the FR 100 times to get your membership worth, OR you could just pay $20 each time which is alot better of a deal for the same perks AND its a guarantee they just lost every paying member that was with them for the last few years. if they were only allowing this for a period of time I am sure they would have notified members and be advertising that way so people know NOW is the time to get in to see it if you want.Originally posted by ERich View Postit's that time again, let's get #28 gentleman....for the bossComment

Heard they're pushing tuesday a bit. "Tapas Tuesdays" takes place every tuesday 5-7 with appetizers, cheap drinks & live music. Could be a good place to start your night off.

I personally dont have a membership, have thought about it 'cus i go to the HOB all the time, but this would have pissed me off, big time! I feel for all members. That sucks.Comment
