First time to vegas

hey im going to vegas memorial weekend for the first time with 3 buddies. We're going Wed thru Mon, and decided to get a table at Pure for Friday.

I'm told its a 2 bottle min ($375 each), vip entrace, waived admission. I do not know if there are any additional tips/fee's/taxes/gratuities....are there any?

We're tryign to keep it around the $900-1000 ballpark...so assuming 750 for bottles + tips/gratuites = 1000....is that possible?

Not trying to be cheap here but this is the first time and would be nice to get a sense of how it works in Vegas. I'm coming from DC so I don't really do too much of the VIP stuff since there's tonnes of other options.


Also, any advice for how 4 guys can in somewhere w/out table? I heard to arrive early - what time? also "take care of doorman"...what a good amount. How much do most places charge for cover? Places im interested in are tryst, pure, body english, tao. I'm on napkin knights glist for Studio 54 on Thursday - is htat place any good?

Good thing for you is you are going mid week.........so it shouldnt be that bad! But yes....anytime you give the doorman extra $$$ it helps. Usually 50 per person will do, but remember you have cover then also. I always suggest vip/table for the clubs. With the price of drinks at 10-20 per drink, you def. save more buy getting bottle service.

you can expect the total bill on a 2 bottle minimum with 20% gratuity included in bill and extra for red bull mixers if you drink that to come to about 1000 then you should take care of the host with 50-100 so it will be close but I would say 1100-1200 with all. wed and thurs you shouldnt have problems getting in too many places if you get there early, friday you have the table at pure so that takes care of that sat and sun might be tough. One thing I would suggest is, whomever your host is at pure, get his cell # because it is mayhem outside and you cant get to the front of the line so you can just call him and tell him ur there and he'll tell you what to do. Also if you take good care of your host you can ask him if he has any contacts where you want to go on sat and sun so you dont have to wait in line for 3 hours and it may help.
covers are usually about 40 per guy so when you add this up and then ad up tipping bartenders buying girls drinks adn fighting to get to the bar (especially mem weekend) the bottle is usually the way to go. good luck and have fun.

Pure is till up in the air as I've not heard any confirmation from the promoter yet.

Our schedule looks like this so far:

Thurs - LAX or studio 54 or Tao (any better recommendations??).
Fri - Body English or Pure.

Do you have any recommendations?

Sat prob doing something lowkey. We want to go to REHAB Sunday....any advice to get into that? what time should we expect getting there?

Thursday nite is 3 guys, Fri nite is 4 guys. Sun is 3 guys.

Thursday I would do TAO if I was you, but that is just me. Regardless, all the clubs are going to be busy. And, I would suggest calling the promote rather than emailing if you haven't tried already! For Rehab, get there EARLY. Likely a few hours before.....bring a few drinks in with you and sit and wait. Hell, you can get your drink on in line, no worries! Give us an update when you return, hope you have a good time!!

I would definitely get tryst in the mix, any one of the nights you metioned it will be good.
