I'm going to be going to both this coming week and had a couple questions for those who have gone before. FYI, I will not be renting a cabana or day bed. So we will probably be hanging around in or around the pool. Kinda stupid questions but here goes:

-What do you wear on your way there? Just my swim trunks and shirt? Is their a change room or something?
-Where do I put my t-shirt, moola, etc. if I dont have a cabana or day bed to leave my stuff in?
-Do I need to bring my own towel?

High heels and speedos go over real well. Especially with all the DBs there. Just kidding!!! Swim trunks and a t shirt

Where do I put my t-shirt, moola, etc. if I dont have a cabana or day bed to leave my stuff in?

Only bring one cc and your id. Also a small amout of cash. I have a small water proof container that I keep my shit in. Fits in my pocket. Makes it look like I am packing some major sausage (LOL)

-Do I need to bring my own towel?

    NO

Sort of a follow-up question. I'm a pale bastard, and the prospect of exposing myself to the sun for a prolonged period of time frightens me. Would it be possible for me to just kick it in a t-shirt and shorts all day?
The only winning move is not to play.

Heh, I'm a fan of rocking a month of fake n' bakery along with hot yoga pre-trip.

Take of the t-shirt and pile on the sunscreen on an hourly basis!!!... spray on 45spf aveeno is absolutely necessary!!

I suggest if ur pale to get a spray tan right before you go. Its a little bit of an effort but you will feel so much better when your at a pool party.

If you do get one remember to exfoliate before your spray tan and then dont shower for like 4-6 hours after. You have to let it set in. Also put lotion on the bottom on your hands a feet (like a lot) and in between your fingers and toes. This will make it so you dont get orange there.

Get it the day before you go. They can fade pretty fast!

Last tip: If you really want to pro long your glourious fake tan bring some fake tan spray with you to reapply. Its easier to do after a professional spray tan.

Or fake and bake! WEAR SUNSCREEN!

Indoor tanning? I'd advise against that - it's even more dangerous than normal tanning to your skin, especially for someone with fair skin. You're basically laying down as intense UV rays bake your skin.

If you're of the pale persuasion, stick with the spray on stuff if you want that golden (err, orange?) look. Otherwise, just be comfortable in your own skin and proudly rock the Casper look. Go in the sun for a little bit, stick back to the cabana, liberally apply the sunscreen, and all's well.

Ive done both types of tanning. My spray tan really looks well... REAL. I get compliments all the time on my glow. The key is to do the mystic tan and exfoliate. I would post a pic but i'm new and feeling shy.

I'm totally about embracing your pale! However people do notice the pale person, not that it makes a difference. My point is that getting a little color allows you to:

feel good (your not the casper for what its worth)
you'll look healthy (even though tans arnt)
you look thinner (go on and hit the buffet)

Just dont over do it. A little tan is better than a deep tan. Deep tans are kinda gross if too dark and get as much negative attention as caspers if not more...

              Just an honest opinion!

Guys probably have it pretty easy, just wear a shirt/tank/something that you can rip off when you are about to get in the water. You can wear your swim trunks everywhere. If you don't have a cabana .. I suggest going early so you can find a corner of the pool or a good spot to lay your towel down. Thats kind of a way of "claiming your spot" and nobody will mess with it. I usually stay close to it or have someone around it at all times.

                        They do provide towels.
