  • Suggestions for 21 year old son

I am taking my son & one of his friends to LasVegas for his 21st birthday. I was hoping to get friends to go with me but seems to be a bad time for everyone else.

So we arrive on a Wednesday night 7pm and head back home on Sunday night.

I always stay at the Venetian but not sure that will be the best scene for us this time. Any advice?

He wants to go to Ghostbar at the Palms. Where else would be good to take them? I may be over 40 but most of my friends are in late 20's & 30's so I can party with the best of them.

Suggestions for where & when. I want to take him places he will like but at the same time I don't want to feel out of place.

    Thanks so much.

So by taking your son and his friends does that mean your just paying his way and letting him do his own thing or that you guys will be partying together?

      Paying his way is certain.

Please do not take offense to this...

My mother accompanied me on my 21st birthday, and although we went to the nightclubs alone I had to deal with her the rest of trip and the day after.

Do your son a favor and let him go his own way that night. Trust me. He'll have a much better time than having to worry about what he's going to do, how much he's going to drink and who he can and can't flirt with when his mom is there.

However, this doesn't mean you can't go out to bars and other fun things together, I would just stay away from the boys on one night and let them do there thing.

The Hard Rock and Planet Hollywood are great for younger scenes, but if you're looking for something everyone can enjoy, than I think the Venetian is a wise pick, plenty of things to see and do, good locaton and TAO is right there, if your son chooses to go there.

Palms is off the strip, so if you're planning to be on the strip a lot - I would stick with the Venetian. The Palms have wristbands than you can go everywhere with, and I would definitely say that would be good for both of them (well the boys anyway, if you're a MILF , you shouldn't have any problems), they can bounce around to all the clubs and Ghostbar and Playboy Club are great communal stomping grounds for sure.

I would try out Body English one night as well, if your son is more in to rock than hip hop.

Sorry if I offended - just speaking from experience!

Ok, well what kind of party scene is he into? For the most part all the clubs would be a decent spot for both of you to party at but at some you might definately feel a bit out of place. Pure, Jet and most of the Palms clubs, except Ghostbar would probly be the places you might feel a bit out of place.

I honestly dont know if there really is a place she would feel out of place because in Vegas everyone is whoever they want to be. I agree he will be a little guarded with his fun since his mom is there, but if your paying his way he should keep his mouth shit about it Im 27 and i go to Vegas every year with my parents because we all work together and have a show for our business there every May and i go out with them most of the nights and just get crazy. Just depends on your relationship.

Welcom aboard kel, if your going to do the ghostbar one night you should really do the wanttickets.com $60 wristband which includes no cover or lines for rain, ghostbar and playboy/moon, all within the Palms its a pretty good deal.

I also think all of you would enjoy trryst as well as what the otyhers have suggested but I agree with keeb, I think youll have fun and no one will feel out of place at any of the clubs, or lounges.
