review of my ten nights in vegas

went out 9 outa ten nights,did tao 3 times on thurs and both sat nights had table in the moat would say still the best club in vegas by a long way

next would say bodyenglish on sunday nights had tables by floor both sundays and was superb both nights

did pure one friday night was good but nowhere near as busy as last year but still a top club

did lavo on the tue night its a cool funky lounge only criticisim is it dies a bit early in there like at 2am

biggest diapointments for me were lax on the wed and xs on the fri night
lax is not in the same class as the other clubs and although the setting of xs is breathtaking the place is just so huge the atmosphere gets lost a little,i could see why so many people go crazy for it but for me i much prefer tao,bodyenglish and pure

special mention to larson at tao and justin at bodyenglish both were excellent hosts and delivered great tables

lowest was 2 on the quiet midweek nights ,most nights magnum of grey goose,bottle of jack and champagne,was only two of us ,safe to say we had a blast

I thought the exact same thing about xs. I went during superbowl weekend and liked tryst and pure much more. In fact we met some people who were leaving for pure! Lol not good. Your right that place is so damn big and spread out the energy is lost. One of our members got bottle service there an was put outside in those stacked rooms way over by the outdoor casino. WTF? What a buzzkill. I wasn't wowed by encore or wynn either (3 nights at wynn) horrible color scheme , horrible location.

I am in awe. I wrote on another thread about someone I knew taking a 7 days trip out there and some people thought that was just unheard of. Dude took 10 days and survived. I envy you.

total table tab was probably around $20000-$25000 worth every penny,greateast party town in the world by a mile

i was dragons partner in crime. on our one night "off", the monday we saw jersey boys which i would also highly recommend.

other criticism of xs is that there was too much house music for my liking.
