  • Poolside Concerts at the HRH?

Just wondering, anyone ever go to these? I've been mulling going for the Roots concert, 9PM, at the Hard Rock on 7/10, but I'm not too sure what to expect [layout, acoustics, visibility, spacing, etc]. It's either this and then Drais or... I guess Tryst or Tao for Friday.

SpyOnVegas Friday Night Open Bar @ HR

On my last trip to Las Vegas in May, I signed up to go to the Friday Open Bar @ HR by SpyOnVegas. It was Sugar Ray and I was curious if this included seeing the show, as the Open Bar started at 6:00 pm. I sent an email to them, and to my supprise they said yes, you get to stay free for the concert that night.

Unfortunately due to other plans, we did not get to go. But here's the link to RSVP for 7/10/09 Roots Performance. http://www.spyonvegas.com/index.php?...ents/view/1744 Give us a report if you go.

I went to the angels and airwaves poolside concert followed up by 50 cent , yes ava opened for 50 cent how bad ass huh? Anyhow it's great, they say you can't go in the water, but you can. There will probably be only a couple hundred people there (sweet), there's a couple bars, stage is super small don't even consider the "accoustics". It's a great experience and chances are it will end before 11pm so you can even hit BE before then drais. That is if you decide not to go in the pool (I suggest you do) no dress code required go boarding shorts and flippy floppys. Lol get a good buzz and get in the water.

Thanks! I'll definitely check that out... means staying around three hours earlier, but saves about $60 on the admission for the concert.

Nice info - if I go in shorts, I'd definitely skip BE after the concert, go back, gamble a little and then hit up Drais.

I fucking love Pepper, almost worth it to go back for the 3rd time in six weeks, as cheap as tickets are right now.

Yeah, kind of similar to sublime, a mix of rock and a reggae-ish sound, they're fucking rad.
