Pre Holiday blues

Does anyone else ever experience this?

As soon as I booked my holiday I stopped going out, drinking, gambling and have been living off 30 dollars a day. Im so dam bored. 3 months of reading forums im sick of the internet theres nothing left to life it seems.

Does anyone else ever experience this calm before the storm?

Well....I can say that as my trip gets closer, the more anxious I become. I feel like the next few weeks are going to take forever, and I just wanna be in Vegas already! And reading other people's trip reports on this forum is only making it worse. So, yeah, not exactly what you were talking about but the same general idea....

Mate, I totally feel your pain. I'm not heading out until the end of August and the wait is absolutely killing me!

These forums are the only thing keeping me going (although I really need to stop reading them in the daytime and start doing some work in my office!). The only bad thing is when I think I have my Vegas plan sorted, I read some other stuff and everything changes again!

LOL, that's how it always is for me too, that's why with the exception of holiday weekends I've stopped planning more than a week or so in advance.

Im the complete opposite. I start "warming up" for vegas drinking about 2 months in advance. I tend to go to vegas in the summer, and in the winter i dont go out to much, so late spring I start partying hard to prep. Cant wait till next week.

I really feel sorry for the people who book holidays a year ahead. It's so crazy distracting. I guess I am a real impatient person.

I bought some shares not long ago and I found myself on share forums continually and checking my share prices 5 times a day. It sent me crazy so I sold them lol

I get the blues for sure. I just cant wait for Labor Day weekend. Its the only thing i have thought about for the last few weeks and im not getting any work done because im on these forums all day! Its all your guys fault!!!

The only reason to book really far in advance is because of the good deals you can get.

I don't mind the wait, just business as usual until it comes. It gives me something to look forward to. It's all how you spin it to yourself.

Now coming back, that's a different story.

My vegas blues don't really start until the night before. I go there almost every other month, so I pretty much know what to expect and to budget for. No ramen diet for me. Just gotta gas up the ride, pack and go.
