Sad day, Michael Jackson, The "King Of Pop" passed away at 2:30 ish PST.
Yeah he was a freak and was accused of some sick stuff, but he was also one hell of an artist & performer.
I'll be mixing in a ton of Michael tonight at the club and I'm sure some of my fellow DJ's will be doing the same.

Even with all the controversy of his life, Michael Jackson was indeed the king of POP! I'm sure we're going to be flooded with media overload on this as well. I just want to listen to the music and reminisce of the music that made him great. I watched I'm sure one of many specials on MTV last night which played some of his videos, Thriller, Beat It, and lastly was this 1995 VMA performance,

probably the last one he did ever, and that's the way I'd like to remember him, RIP Michael !

I cant even imagine all of the stress that he was under with bankruptcy, losing his nertherlands ranch, the accusations of child molestation, trying to revive his career... no wonder he had a heart attack.

This is someone who made such a huge impact on music. He changed the game. Usher, Justin Timberlake, Beyonce, the list goes on and on but they can thank MJ for where they're at now. Music videos were never the same after Thriller, even though MTV killed the music video. His music is just timeless.

Despite all the controversy, I think he was a legend. Had tickets to see him concerts in London next month, but to be honest - as excited as I was - there was always an underlying thought that it was really never going to happen...

..unless his death is fake and he's going to re-appear in the biggest publicity stunt of all time..

I have 3 young boys, so I guess I could care less how famous he was, or how good his music was. Why should talent overshadow the unthinkable acts he was accused of? Regardless of the accusations, I base my opinion on the facts. Words from his own mouth, video evidence of his house, and multiple accusers. Our court system is flawed, but I still respect it. BUT that doesnt mean I have to respect MJ. I would never wish death upon him, but Im certainly not going to celebrate his life.

I respect all of your opinions. I hope you can respect mine.
