Unless there is a plugin that limits use (I'll look), i'm not seeing a way to limit new users ability.

There is a way to limit use.

On another forum that i'm a member of, the members do not have access to PM unless they have atleast 10 posts and 10 days on the forum under their belt.

Yeah, we do use PMs a bit Jack, for passing on info that we don't want exposed to the wider world, things like that. I'd hate to lose access to it just because some douchebags are trying to take advantage of you and the boards for personal gain.

yeah I agree, id hate to lose the PM option. there will be a way to combat these a holes.....maybe in order to join the board you have to fill out 10 fake applications for a host on PPI.com, and that will keep them busy chasing fake leads they wont hvae time for us On a serious note; people on the board just need to be bright enough and do their due diligence that if they get an email or PM from someone they should search their member name, see how many posts they have and see how legit they are....if there are any questions they could always contact a mod or JC to see what we suggest......but I feel that when someone posts a question enough people repsond that they should just ignore any PMs.

Cant lose the PM's. Their a good source of 1 to 1 communication. I know some idiots take advantage of it, but we just have to watch for them thats all.

Hey Guys,
Yeah, the guy who sent me a PM, was looking for someone just like me. The first day I created an acct, logged on and wrote my first post, he sent me a PM, talkin about "i got the hook up". My instincits said, Hmmmmm this feels funny. (and not the good kinda funny) so I just ignored him. But it does seem like he was "waiting" for newbie to log on....

I really do like Prive, but Tryst is a good bet, and, I always have to give the shout out to Moon. The view is phenomenal and you can get one of the tables for two along the windows and enjoy the view all night.
