I might get shat on for saying this, but I don't think it's necessary to use anyone's contacts (Jack Colton's or otherwise).

When I first started going to Las VEGAS I had no resources like this website. I just asked around. Yeah, I had some good times and some bad times. But, I learned it's how you ask the question, which will bring you to who you know, not what you know.

After I learned that, meeting locals, especially those that work in the industry came so easy.

I think part of the fun of going to Las Vegas was taking a chance on a nightclub.

You have a good point about who you know ... but for those people that have no hook ups etc, JC's contacts would be pretty useful if you need to get bottle service or if you have a large group. Additionally, for the majors like XS, it's hard to get in. Understandable point though.
