Spending a week with my buddy in vegas to celebrate my 29th birthday. We are and staying at Encore and looking forward to 7 crazy nights in sin city.
Both seasoned clubbers, drinkers, but i have a question which might sound really stupid..
This whole "table" thing in all the clubs , should i book tables everywhere before i come?
We're coming from England and over here our nightclubs do not have "tables" and if they do there is no "cover" or charge for them.. Mainly just big clubs and everyone is either buying a drink or dancing. Here you just queue, pay, drink, dance mostly in that order lol

Basically any hints on tips to maximise our vegas experiance from locals or seasoned vegas pros would be very much appreciated and if i bump into you ill get the shots in for your hassles

for those dates you might want to book early, but read thru the threads and it will really help you out.......especially posts by tao experience, eltri, and rock28 you can even just search their handles......dont listen to people who have the saying "i post both ways" under their name.....THEYRE STRANGE!!!

Well tables go with bottle service for the most part, you get either a table or a booth or something along those lines. With table service you generally get to bypass the line and get right into the club and have a special part of the club where you can just sit and relax.

Since your going from a Monday to Monday I would say try and save bottle service closer to the weekend depending on your budget. Since it's 4th of July weekend expect their to be a higher bottle minimum and since it's just going to be you and a buddy your best bet would be to play it by ear and possibly find someone to split bottle service with.

daytimes stacked with everything humanly possible. I was thinking XS on the monday we land as its at the Encore anyways though only just started looking at the nightclub thing.. So used to being able to club hop pretty easily all night with no planning, all this "pre planning" is a bit of a shock to me heh..
I'm not against Queues, its a great place to get to know the girls where you can hear yourself think but anything over 30mins is a joke..
drinking and dancing is about the only solid thing on the agenda atm :P

haha 30 mins is actually not bad, especially for a holiday weekend! if you dont pay and just wait in line you'll be waitin from 30 mins to an hour or two depending on what time you get to the club. XS is really nice, huge too but I wouldnt recommend it for a Monday night. I hear Prive gets down Mondays and I'm sure you'll find other places for the other nights

VIP reservation gets you on a list? allows you queue jump and you have to tip someone which works out a little extra then normal queue humping

Bottle service gets you straight in, bigger tip? and then a bottle of drink is lots of $$ but you dont have to queue at the bar and you have a table all/most of the night.. but has to be booked in advance?

Can you just book a table and tip a fit drinks lady to get mixed drinks/shots all night for you ? and does this get a queue jump?

He's asking if you can just pay for a table and then order mixed drinks and stuff instead of the other options.

Which of course the answer is no. You can certainly get your bottle minimum and then order mixed drinks after that but you'll always need the bottle, except at the pools
